The Scenery Guest House...

It lives up to its name, when accommodated on the second floor, you will have a lovely view of the area. You overlook a good part of phi phi town.

The accommodation is a little dated, but does not take away that there are rooms with airco and vans. The sheer size of the rooms are great for the price.

They do an outstanding job of keeping a clean house. Shower and toilets are all good. And the beds lay comfortable.

Above all the the hosts are well worth the fourth star, amazingly helpful, nice and honest people.

We ABSOLUTLY didn't like it. The room was dirty, the water tube of the sink got broken in the middle of the night and we panic!! Because the lady of the reception wasn't there.
Very hot room even if the fan was on. A big cockroach (very disgusting) in the room because the sink was full of holes so that's where they came from, angleworms in the bathroom and a lot of mosquitos.
The lady at the reception was not friendly at all.
Too high the price of the bedroom for the service given so I won't recommend it.
The location was perfect though, few steps away from The View and from the beach.

The double bedroom was a decent size. When we arrived the windows were wide open, think that was to allow fresh air in. Didn't help the smell at all though. The bathroom had an unpleasant odour and the mattress was probably older than me! Springs sticking out, extremely uncomfortable. Good location as it's out of the party scene.

Quite hard to get to if you have a suitcase due to lots of steps. The landlady is ok.. Quite expensive to stay, the beds aren't bad, we had a double and a single bed - the mattress was disgusting. The showers are cold. No T.V. or entertainment. They do laundry but it's cheaper to go elsewhere for it doing. The upper hand of it being quite far back from the centre is that it's quiter on an evening.

Cheap. Easy to get to. At the start of the steps to the view point. However, the rooms have mold. The rooms smell like mold as soon as you walk in. Hard to breath and sleep here. The windows don't have screens, which means you must keep them closed to avoid mosquitoes and other bugs from coming in. Perhaps if the windows had screens, one could air the room out.
This place would be awesome otherwise.

I was there only for 2 nights ????. I don't recommend it at all. There's no ac only old fan making noises like it wants to break. If you open a window the moskitos will fly in. The restroom is below average. I had better sleep on the beach than in this room.

Hotel rooms are not so bad. Little bit far from the pier, about 900 metres. AC is not working, as we booked for AC room. You just enjoy the phi phi island rather than hotel. They didn't provide water, and u do not find a hanger for your cloths.
Need to improve more.
