It for sure had potential, but I think they just opened it up again before we arrived. Shower was nice, bug net for the bed too, but it smelt strange if we went in during the day. Also the noise travels so it sounded like our neighbors were right outside our door

Nice place with nice hosts. Situation is near to the main streets. Buildings and rooms a little bit too old, but comfortable

Beautiful atmosphere and very relaxing! At first I thought the fan bungalow would be too hot but it gets chill at night. The staff are very nice and friendly. The bar by the pool is cool and the bartender plays some good tracks. It is normal on an island to have mosquitoes so that's not really something to complain about. If you're looking for chique room styles than this is not the place for you :) very decent rooms though.

We have spent here one week. We have booked a bungalow but they gave us a very bad room instead. The bed matrace was broken and in very bad shape, with a hole in it, so I asked to replace it. They did it. The room was very noisy and we asked to move to a garden side to a real bungalow.
That was much nicer, but they did not even clean it before giving it to us. Service was pretty bad, but we got used to this in Thailand. It was really cheap so you cant really expect any luxury. Location was very nice, natural surroundings, trees, mountains nearby. Pool area was nice. Our bungalow was old and very basic but if you want to pay more there are better bungalows with aircon and poolview. We havent spent much time in the room so we didnt care. I could go back to this place, it wasnt so bad.

At first glance a really nice quaint looking place. But the grounds were scruffy and dirty. Newer huts not too bad but stay away from older huts. Floors rotten, no windows( just very bad fitting shutters). No aircon, just a slow fan and the mosquito nets had lots of holes in and needed replacing. Suspected bed bugs .
Also a large bird of prey kept in a cage in poor conditions.
Swimming pool was good and refreshing and the barman was a cool ace guy. Helpful reception staff.

I went to this bungalow with a friend, and we booked the double room bungalow with a fan. It was a really bad idea. The room was really humid, the fan quite weak, and the mosquitos were happily sucking our blood in this tiny room. But the worst thing must be that we got bedbugs from this same room. Today we are wAfter the first night, I woke up with two swollen bites behind my tight, and my friend got one bite. We thought at first that the mosquitos could pass the mosquito net hanging on the top of the bed. Today we know that it was bedbugs. Our bags are infested with them. Really disappointed. And when we left the room the staff was not as kind as previously.The smell of the pillows was terrible, as if they never clean the bed and the sheets.

The bungalow was ok, but very dark. We asked to keep the room for one hour longer, because we just got back from a boat trip and wanted to shower and get our luggage done. They gave us only 30 minutes to get out of the room. Apparently, they had bad experiences in the past, because they called colleagues to check our room before departure... Strange thing! The lemon juice was not good.
We liked the luggage transport service to the pier.
