Stay here way exceeded my expectations. Breakfast was home cooked and absolutely delicious! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very nice and clean. Also have day trips around the island that leave right from your hotel. Will definitely be staying here again next time in Phi Phi.

Great experience with this hotel and staff. We walked in and made a reservation on sight for two nights for a reasonable price compared to other places on island and a great breakfast was included each morning of our stay. A short walk from the crazy partying in town which was perfect for us. Staff was friendly and helpful. Recommended!

Staff pleasant on arrival but be careful with your room! Check towels etc before you use them! We had a tough day travelling so got a shower as soon as we arrived but noticed one of the towels was filthy, then completely forgot to ask for a clean one, so we used the clean towel provided and one of our own. On our last day there, we had no clean running water, it was brown so we had to brush our teeth etc using bottled water, we were in a rush so didn't complain, just got on with things..When it came to checking out, they tried to charge us for the dirty towel! So check everything as soon as you get into your room!!
After this, staff didn't want to assist us with bags as they did upon arrival. Seems like all they're after is money unfortunately!

Very good experience. Clean and good looking rooms, good location, swimming pool, good personnel (when they were asked to change the sheets because it was stained they did it right away without any prolongation).

The minuses do exist as well. Low sound isolation and not a perfect showering.

Situated at a very quiet u0026 silent mountain side and I badly felt haunted+risky and hence couldn't dare to stay the night there. Their Stairs are still like a Nightmare to me and our room was filled with the bad odour of cats and their Free Breakfast was not even worthed.
But I must admit that their room/pool view was outstanding.
Experience: -10/10
But,
View: 10/10

PS. When we stayed there this October, the resort was named "Phi Phi Top View Resort" not "Chunut House".

Best is the best hotel to stay in phi phi island
The owner is Patcharee bakery in town.... Good service and kind

The breakfast is good and is held in the next door's bakery, which belongs to the same owner. We found out where we had to go (chunut is a good 10 min walk) and had a guy with a trolly take our bags for us for 200baht. We didnt feel the hike in price was justified and moved on. I loved this place.
