We got a four person co-ed room which was nice because there were 4 of us. The showers are super easy and free and our room was very clean and super cold which was nice. The price is perfect and the location was quiet but not too far from fun.

I’d bring some bug spray for an evening bathroom runs, the mosquitos were very happy and in excess after hours.

Clean, comfy, cheap. Had to use earplugs but I always do in dorms and this one is not a heavy parting hub. Never had to queue for the bathroom (many people complain there's to few of them). Stayed for 3 nights and would stay again. The main issue for me was lack of hooks for mossie nets (I travel with my own) and it's impossible to kill them all before going to sleep as the room is quite dark (no windows, which is great for noise reduction and mosquito access and sleeping in).

If you're travelling on a budget, it's alright. But be warned it's not that clean if you're a bit OCD I would avoid it. But for me for a couple of nights it was ok. 6 beds to a room. You can either stay in mixed or for girls they have a separate option for only female rooms. Lockers in the room. Shower area... 4 cubicles with locks, shower and toilet in the same place. Pack toilet paper as there are none and be prepared for not much water coming out. I felt cleaner before the shower. Only rating this 3 stars for price and because even though I checked out 7 hours late and the sign said for every hour extra you're charged 100 bt per hour I still got my deposit back and wasn't charged.

Its OK for $13 a night. Its a place to sleep and a medium personal luggage storage area. Automatic Electronic locks on the door. Decent wifi. An outlet to charge something by your bed and a light. Nice ac. It felt safe. 4 hot shower rooms (with soap and shampoo dispensers) with toilets and two sinks (no hot water, but had soap dispensers) with mirrors. It was pretty clean.

Cons of first night.
-check in said 2pm. I got there at 1:30 and there was a sign that said we will be back at 2:30.
-I got into my room which was supposed to be 4 people Max, but there was 8.
-I came back to my room at 10:30pm and my card didn't work. There was no one at the desk and strangers sleeping inside so I couldn't knock to wake them up because they had no idea who was at the door. I waited and luckily, someone else in the room came back, but I couldn't leave the room to shower or brush my teeth because I would be locked out again. I asked the front desk lady what happened and she said she cleaned the room and everyone had to get their keycard fixed. It would have been nice to know.

*To get here, you will need to follow the main beach road until it turns left, keep going past the mosque, keep going past the gypsy restaurant, and you will see a sign for it on the left

I really don't know where the good ratings came from. We stayed here for three days and they never even swept the floor! There where hairs and dirt everywhere, it startet to stink, it was awful! The bathroom was also really dirty with insects crawling around. Apart from that, the hostel looked like a prison. I'll never come here again!

This isn't actually a bad place to stay, beds are comfortable, location is away from anything too busy but just a 5 minute walk away from anything you need. This is overpriced for what it is, but that goes through all accommodation here unfortunately. My main problem here was the toilet roll situation, it's like dust wrapped around a cardboard tube and disintegrates when you even look at it

Good place to stay, as it was clean and the staff was very nice. There was a big incident that I had to call the police as in a group of Indians, one of them beat 2 girls and one guy, but it's not the hostel's fault. Too many mosquitos however and it's very hot outside the room beds are comfy.
