Good price for what you get. Was a cute place and on arrival was nicer than expected. The staff were helpful and wrote addresses in Thai for us to be able to get to the places we wanted. They would also tell us how much to pay in a tuktuk. Breakfast was simple but nice. Only complaint is that their were a couple of stains on the sheets which made it a little uncomfortable and due to arriving late didn't want to cause a fuss.

It is a very cheap place, price wise. You can get a lovely room at very reasonable price. I opted for The Suite and yet it costed me just around ₹2000 per night! And this included a basic breakfast comprising of fruits, scrambled eggs, toast, butter and tea. The hotel is run by women who are friendly and ever ready to help. And the structure is so beautiful! Even location is great - it's 15 minutes walk from Khao San Road and 25 minutes walk from Grand Palace. Go for it!

Very nice modest guest house In Bangkok , our reservation was made online and all worked out great , find better rates online than walk in, also it’s a popular guest house so reservations are a must. They offer breakfast ???? is NOT buffet style though, but you get coffee, 2 eggs and bread ???? ???? the salad and fruit ???? ???? is included, the rooms are good for a short stay, some with A/C or just a fan, the location is great because walking distance to the hop on,hop off boats ????u200d♂️ on the river and to popular streets that at night are very much alive with restaurants, bars and various food vendors “ mobile food car vendors” great food all over , I recommend this guesthouse.

Really nice place. Good location. Friendly staff. Air con room. Reasonably cheap. Really enjoyed our stay here, and recommended it to a friend who is actually staying there now. Make sure to get the air con room as the fan room is HOT. 24 hour reception which is very useful and good. Thanks for having us!

Super friendly staff (one woman especially in particular), great quiet location but easy to get to the touristy stuff. Laundry service, wifi, ac and hot water were all good as well. We stayed here for 4 nights but in order to stay in an affordably priced room (600 baht ish) we had to change rooms 3 different times. As an expert on the various rooms, I can now say that rooms on the second floor have more character and are brighter but walls are paper thin (guy next to us couldn’t stop coughing and we heard the whole thing). Rooms downstairs are more modern but no character whatsoever.

Great quiet area close to Khao San Road and Rambuttri. Staff is friendly. The place and rooms are clean and quiet. I had a double room. There was an air-con, little shelf, towels and shampoo and showel gel available in shared bathroom. Only 3 stars because of very weak sometimes non-existant wi-fi in the room (we stayed in the room next to bathrooms, the furthest from reception) which is a must-have for a traveller. You can have breakfast/drinks there if you want, laundry service.

Samsen Sam Place is a wonderful little guesthouse/hostel located in a quiet unassuming alley street off of the main road (Samsen Rd). It is location in an old, almost 100 year, wooden Thai home. This makes the location quite appealing with beautiful wooden floors and quaint touches throughout. My room was one of the two suites which afforded me with a large double bed, a workspace table, two seating chairs, a small beauty station, and a large bathroom. The bathroom had a little wardrobe where I was able to put my luggage and keep my clothes accessible for the 7 nights I stayed there. The shower was quite large and the water pressure and availability of hot water just what you’d want. While the bathroom amenities were basic, it was all that was needed. There was daily housekeeping available with a twist I quite liked. If you wanted to help save water and use of laundry detergent you would simply leave your towels hanging up as a towel on the floor meant “please exchange” and they would only do the sheets on the bed if you placed the laminated placard on the bed indicating you’d like them laundered as well. The staff were super friendly and ready to help when you had questions. Laundry service is available on premises, but beware it is hang-dry only and you do the laundry yourself. This saves money (40 baht, 50 if you need laundry powder), but if you are in a rush I recommend using one of the local laundry sites as if you drop it off in the morning should have it by the evening or first thing the next morning. There are plenty of restaurants nearby to choose from as well as easy access to money exchange locations and atm’s. It is also very easy to call a Grab to come and take you wherever you want to go. Breakfast is included, but very simple (choice of friend or scrambled eggs, white toast, powder coffee, fresh pineapple and watermelon, and "salad"). I personally had no issues and quite enjoyed eating out on the little patio area.
