During many visits to Bangkok over the last ten years, I've stayed at Bella Bella on every occasion. The location on the river is very pleasant with public transport to many parts of Bangkok nearby. The rooms u0026 guesthouse are always clean - thanks to the hard working staff. Room prices are very affordable and have remained constant for ten years. I very much appreciate the covered rooftop - washing can be hung out to dry even when it's raining.

Worst experience of my month of travelling in Thailand. When we wanted to check out, the owners tried to make us pay for one more night because we were after the checkout time which was never told to us. She then locked all the doors from the reception and tried to blackmail for money while keeping us inside. We then knocked on the windows to get any help from people in the street. Thank god, the security agent of the hotel in front came to help us to get out of this place. I wish to no one else this horrible experience and being locked inside a hotel in exchange for money. Avoid this place…

You need to walk in a small dark alley to come here.
Very bare basic room.
The fan in the room is quite noisy. Bad WiFi at 3rd floor.

Cheap hotel, cheap service, cheap staff. The staff tried to scam us. If you're looking for a great hotel, this isn't it.

Not that friendly service on the one hand. But they are cheap and far from Khao San hustle and bustle, near by river. Sunny. Lack of elevators made my staying here slightly inconvenient after I got Dengue fever on islands. I had climb all these stairs up to 4th floor.

Keep in mind the way to the hotel is through narrow streets so taxis would not agree to go straight here and you would have to go as a pedestrian with your bags and packs.

I like so much this guesthouse. Every time I go to Bangkok I try to stay there

The staff is kind, helphful and smiling people.

It is a clean place and good rooms.

I recommend it 100%

Best place in Bangkok: so much better than the other guesthouses (I stayed in many) Tranquil and good rooms: hot showers and the rooms feel breezy and not warm (the fans are super powerful) Very good value for the price. Close to Khao San rd but not too close: the area is very nice.
