I would recommend for special events. Staff are cool. The room is spacious and the bathroom has nice swinging doors, like entering a balcony. The hotel has a totally open door policy as there are no walls/ glass windows/ doors to speak of. The price we got was surprisingly great for the season.

Stayed here for one night while we had a mad on in Patong. Me and my girlfriend had private room and I booked my buddy into the dorm. No complaints from any of us. Reception staff very nice indeed. Pricing reasonable and despite not staying very long the place had a nice feel to it. Would stay here again for sure.

Staff are very very friendly but I didn't like the room, it was cheap yes but the toilet was smelly.

It's a 10 to 15min walk to Patong beach, a lot of restaurants, ATMs, forex and tour counters around. Wasn't really that bad except for the toilet.

Darm and Minn (the owners) are simply amazing people who are so passionate about running this place. Our room had all the amenities you would expect of a hotel room. Taxi driver did get lost on the way there as there was road works but once there it was great. Great job guys keep it up.

The reviews on this hotel were good that's why we chose it , but it's nothing to write home about. Best part about Islanda is the price. Patong beach is about 20 to 30 mins walk depending on your speed. There are some food stands nearby which are quite cheap and taste not bad.

We were a bit disappointed with the room. The person at the reception is friendly and helpful, full of smiles. I feel like the value was beyond compare. The location of the hotel was ideal. A few minutes to the huge mall Jung Celon if you want to shop.

Location is not the best coz not at the beach but not far away. The staff in the hotel are very helpful and friendly. Very close to the Juncyelon shopping center. Good value for standard of hotel. I am glad to I have to go again greeting Liene and Allan.
