We stayed 6 nights at the hotel. The place is correct, pleasant and with beautiful views of the sea, you can even have a bbq in the place, the room is small, the bed is noisy, small and uncomfortable and the bathroom is large and fine. We got the room near the pier and from 6am the noise and the horns of the boats make it seem like you're sleeping in the middle of Bangkok.

Remarkable location and not as noisy as other reviews suggested although still not many tourists around. Very short walk to or from the ferry. Access on site is a little tricky with uneven steep steps. Bed not very supportive.

Great location. Comfortable beds, aircon, good shower. Nice touches such as clean towels, toiletries, toilet paper each day. Only downside was restaurant was closed so 2km walk for breakfast

One of the best stays I have ever had in Koh Samed. Very accessible and what I love about it is the location as well. The place was so relaxing and magical, you’ll wake up to this heavenly view of blue crystal water, birds chirping with the sound of the waves and all you ever need is sip your coffee while having bits of heaven around you. If you ever needed a break from all the noise and chaos that’s been going around, this is just the perfect place to book. I would love to stay here on my next trip!

Love this place for its:
- wonderful sea view from its room
- proximity to the main pier
- good restaurants and cafe options nearby
- budget price
The room is small but the bed is comfortable, the aircon is strong and the wifi speed is good. There is no sandy beach in front of the hotel and it is not advisable to swim among the rocks. But a nice sandy beach is 10 mins walk away by foot.

I recently stayed for 6 weeks. Beautiful views of the sea and Ban Phe. All the staff were lovely, extremely friendly and helpful. The manager Tim always checked every day that I was happy with the room etc and if any problems to let the staff know. I enjoyed some lovely vegetarian food which was included in their menu. I had the added luxury of it being very calm and quiet due to visitors not being allowed on the island, so no speed boats which can be a bit noisy when they are running. Overall I would highly recommend Sunrise villa's to anyone wishing to visit Koh Samet.
