We stayed here for two nights. The location is great. The receptionist was nice. The receptionists were not situated at the hotel reception itself but at the resort behind at the Krabi Tipa Resort. The pool is also situated there.

The room we stayed in had a really strong smell of urine, there were lots of stains on the sheets and pillow case, the shower gel and hand gel were lumpy and looked gross.

Also the bed set up was quite odd in that instead of one sheet covering the bed it was two smaller sheets which met half way and would come apart so you are on top of the mattress topper. We didn't complain about anything at the time as we had a busy schedule so didn't want to move around, so other rooms might have been better.

It is quite pricey for what it is and I would recommend somewhere else

The hostel portion of the hotel is fantastic. The rooms are converted hotel rooms and are extremely spacious. They have their own bathrooms and showers while towels and other amenities are provided for each bed. Being a newer hotel, the facilities are well kept and clean. There's a pool available at the sister hotel behind Wake Up. The staff are extremely friendly and there's a coffee machine in the lobby that makes a variety of drinks. Wonderful place overall.

Good location and good facilities for an affordable price. The rooms are a great size and we had a sea view which has a balcony that we just used to dry clothes. The reception area is quite funky and you can eat food and use the free coffee machine. Use of the pool from the hotel next door is included and recommended as it's a nice pool.

Stayed in private room with double bed! Reasonable price! Room was clean + loved the balcony! Includes all basic amenities, hairdryer and fridge! Good working AC and hot shower! Only disadvantage is the duvet cover being a bit too short for two people. Location was amazing and the area is filled with local cuisine and amazing restaurant!

Also free hot chocolate in the lobby was a bonus.

My partner and I loved our stay at Wake Up Ao Nang and would gladly return. The location is a 10/10, and the rooms were very comfortable. Despite being close to the beach it's nicely tucked away so you can sleep soundly. Staff were very kind and attentive. The only thing I would suggest be improved are the beach towels.

Cosy, retro looking hotel with nice clean rooms and good beds. We stayed in the hotel portion and it was great. View was not much, just overlooking other rooftops and the sea was visible from quite a distance. The staff are unobtrusive and helpful, and communication was not a problem. We didn't take the breakfast option but there's plenty of eateries and convenience stores nearby. Getting to the islands from here is also super easy and tour companies can pick you from the doorstep. However, its walking distance to the main beach, shopping stretch and jetty. It's not on the main beachfront street but for us it was better as the crowd was less and it was not as noisy. The price of souvenirs is a bit more than the main street, but it's easier to find cheap local food.

The room was simple and nice, cosy and clean. Overall, the stay was satisfactory. The gym and swimming pool are available at behind the building, and quite nice. Less than 5 min walk to the beach^^

Mai, one of the staff, was very helpful in giving me answers and even helping out in booking the return ride to airport. I would like to thank her again.

The air-conditioning (facilities side), honestly should not be set at certain hours. At times, it was very unbearable to stay indoors. Coffee machine only available from 11am, which was bad actually. The room cupboard was not provided keys, I would need to pay 100baht for self locks.

I asked one of the staff for help for booking, it came to my shock that the staff asked me to talk on my own. I don't speak Thai, which I found that such attitude was unacceptable.
