Food was awful. It was cold and just tasted bad overall. The salmon: almost had to puke when I ate it, spat it out immediately. The eggs: cold and unseasoned. The crepe, bacon and sausage were alright but yet again cold. The salad and tomatoes tasted awful (I'm a big fan of tomatoes but this one just WASN'T it). The only thing I enjoyed was the coffee and the atmosphere. Can't deny that everything looks pretty but I'm very disappointed. Perhaps just chose the wrong dish, but there wasn't much to choose from to begin with????u200d♀️

Well decorated and spacious.
Parking space is limited, shared with hotel parking.
Drinks and desserts are average.

Service is good, food came quickly, nice atmosphere, and the food was quite good. It's large and modern.

We had a reserved table so we were seated quickly, drinks orders for 4 people were taken and the drinks arrived 15 minutes later. Food ordering was a nightmare, the waitress was obviously not familiar with the menu. As a result, my wife and I did not get to order a main course and our friend’s main course arrived before his starter.

When we finally sorted out the food ordering, it arrived quite quickly. Portions were small when one considers the price (3 out of 5 for value for money) but they were quite tasty.

A 10% service charge is automatically added to the bill which is something with which I strongly disagree but we were aware of this beforehand.

There is zero staff co-ordination and it was only when I began to show my anger that an experienced waitress was brought in to sort out the ordering fiasco.

All in all, it was still quite a pleasant evening but if one is looking for a sophisticated dining experience then it will not be found at the overpriced and overhyped Pippin.
