Terrible. The hostel is completely out of the way, located in a very remote part of bangkok with no local attractions.
It took me almost a two hours trip from this hostel to reach Bangkok’s famous temples and Khao San road!! They advertise this hostel as near the skytrain; sounds not a bad deal until you realize skytrain does not go to the temples and city center and all the other attractions are very far. You want to go to Chatuchak market? It is 45 minutes trip on skytrain. China town? You can not even reach it with skytrain, you have to change to subway. Bar and clubs? Not less than half an hour. And the skytrain is not cheap at all so you end up wasting lots of money and time in transportation.
Next day I decided to check the area around the hostel. There are very limited street food in the area particularly during the day. At night there are some more food to try but overall the street food in the area was quite disappointing compared to other parts of Bangkok. There are only condominiums and two shopping malls to be found around there.
The hostel itself? Quite boring! No vibe, no atmosphere, no other travelers or patrons to talk to. it was almost empty. It was just a place to sleep, except the beds are so hard and stiff like a piece of hard plastic or plank of wood. On the bright side, this hostel had a good WiFi which was very important for me.
After two days, I left this hostel and found another cheaper hostel with better location somewhere else. There are plenty of beautifully designed and centrally located hostels with a comparable or even cheaper price in bangkok so don’t waste your money here!
