Room was clean and comfortable but a little basic. However the free breakfast is fantastic - scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, and proper homemade bread (hard to find in Thailand). The family that owns this place are also incredibly helpful and friendly, and organised a private tour for us to visit the golden triangle and the opium museum which was a great day trip.

The rooms are clean with all comfort needed available. But the real bonus of this place is double : first an amazing free breakfast with fresh homemade bread. As Frenchies we appreciate a lot ! Second, the owner is a really nice and helpful person, he will help you organize your trip around Chiang Rai as much as possible, don’t be afraid to ask. A place we can only recommend.

Wonderful experience at the tourist inn. The best hosts, awesome location and good price for a comfortable and simple room. Best of all is the amazing brekky. Would highly recommend doing the tour they offer, we had a fantastic time seeing some amazing sights around Chiang Rai and getting to know the owners son who was our guide.

Big clean room, with a lovely breakfast at a great location. Super friendly staff.

The rooms aren't expensive so I can recommend everyone to stay here if you are looking for a place in Chiang Rai.

We thought the place was just perfect for our overnight trip. Room was clean and spacious, bed comfortable by Thai "stiff" standards. Best shower we've had in weeks, and we've been staying at some spiffy spots. The breakfast was first class in every way. Staff extremely helpful and pleasant with ideas, maps and calls to arrange outside parties. It's a basic room. But if you keep that in perspective with the rate, you'll be giving this little spot five stars of your own. We would stay again instantly.
