Had a great stay at Baan Jaru. The location is great and close to the city center, so we could reach everything in the city on foot. The host spoke formidable English and was very helpful with all our inquiries. Additionally, he taught us a lot about the Thai lifestyle. The rooms were very clean and included everything you need. Breakfast (Toast with eggs, jelly and some fruit) was included. Would definitely recommend :)

The host is very friendly and caring. We spend lots of wonderful time chatting. Rooms are comfortable and very clean. Breakfast is fresh with lots of fresh fruits. Location is perfect , close to many attractions. Highly recommended

Baan Jaru is a great little family guesthouse conveniently located near the center of the city within walking distance of the bus terminal, the clock tower, and numerous restaurants u0026 bars.

It’s comfortable, clean, quiet and even comes with daily breakfast all at a reasonable price in a spacious room.

I stayed here for five nights and highly recommend it!

Toddy, the owner’s son, speaks fluent English as well!

We had a lovely one night stay at Baan Jaru. The hotel was conveniently located, 10 mins walk from the bus terminal and near the night bazaar/clocktower. Rooms were spacious, clean and newly refurbished.

The guesthouse owners were friendly and went beyond to provide us with annotated maps and recommendations.

Would highly recommend this accommodation!

This was the best lodging expirience in Thailand. The host is very friedly and helps you plan your tourist routes. Even helped me with my order online and took it in my name when i was out sightseeing. Cannot recommend enough.
Also good breakfast.

Spacious, clean, comfortable rooms with a fridge and TV. Close to everything you need in Chiang Rai. Great host who gave useful recommendations and can help plan your time in Chiang Rai. Good breakfast of eggs, toast, fruit and hot drinks Excellent stay and reasonable price. Very happy.

Had a fantastic stay here. I loved the aesthetic, reminded me a bit of a jungle bungalow. Toddy, one of the proprietors, really went above and beyond, offered and arranged to pick me up from the airport unprompted. He’s near-fluent in english and has a great sense of humor. The whole staff really made me feel welcome. Toddy drew out detailed maps of the area, and gave me recommendations on everything from coffee shops to motorbike rentals. He also arranged for me to go on a small group tour of Chiang Rai, which was a highlight of my trip. The included breakfast was great. Be sure to stop by nearby Pad Thai Jed Yod, best pad Thai I’ve had my entire life. Really can’t say enough good things. Would stay again in a heartbeat.
