This was a great place to stay for our quick 2 night trip to Chiang Rai! It was clean and had everything we needed. Great value for money! The host even helped us find a day tour with Bamboo tours just a short walk away. There's a great coffee shop and art gallery just next door as well. Solid location - not far from the Saturday night walking market.

Confortable place, i ask for the owner if I can be until 5 o'clock, (the check out should be at 12) he just charge me 150 bht extra, great person

“Great location, great value and loved the quietness at the end of the day at this homely place.”
Wonderful staff, friendly, welcoming and very helpful. Property is a 3 minute walk to city centre but still secluded enough off a side street to provide peace and quiet. Staff provided us with a lovely plate of fruit each morning. Also available toast, butter, jam, tea and coffee. They also organised a wonderful day trip at a very reasonable price with an excellent guide and a luxury minivan which was great value. Pleasant outdoor area to relax and have breakfast. Good, Cheap Guesthouse.
Short walk to bus station and night bazaar.
Owner is welcoming, polite and helpful.
Rooms are clean and spacious. Towel provided for free, along with 2 bottles of water.
Free breakfast (toast, fruit, tea, coffee)
The room was dated, the mattress had seen better days and the bathroom smelt of damp.
Being 400 thb per night for a double A/C room with en suite, I can overlook the downsides.
I recommend this guesthouse and would stay again.

Small room, but very nice hosts. Everything was fine with this place; they even provided me with an extra mattress, since it was four of us, to sleep next to the main bed. The bathroom was small and we had to keep the TP outside so as to not to wet it with every shower. Cool breakfast area, suspended above the main lobby. Very nice hosts, once more, and the price was very competitive.

Positive: The host family was wonderful and let us check in early after a sleepless night on a bus from Vientiane. It is just off of some main streets but quiet and charming space. We really enjoyed the space and our stay..

Positive: Tanya Guesthouse is in great location, near Chiang Rai bus terminal1( This is the main reason why I choose here),and also night bazaar. The guesthouse room has enough space with TV, refrigerator, dining table and bathroom.They also provide Microwave machine for guests tonusr, free coffee u0026 Coco beverage for everyone. Not a bad choice, but not perfect as windows in my room are broken..
