Pleasant stay, comfortable rooms, well sized and priced for twin bedroom with a balcony and shared bathroom for 250 baht with air con! Free toast and hot drinks for breakfast. Good location and friendly owner. Cleanliness could be better.

This hostel has both private rooms as well as dorms. The night bazaar and bus station are within a 5 minute walk. The rooms are basic but the beds are decent and the lockers are large enough to store a large backpack. They provide towels and most of the bathrooms have hot showers. While breakfast is technically not provided, they had bananas and tea available each morning. Staff are friendly but don't speak much English.

There are two locations very close together. They provided free toast and coffee, as well as free bottled water whenever they cleaned the room. They offer laundry services on site at 40 baht/kg. Walking distance to the night bazaar and many restaurants and motorbike rentals or tours. The rooms could be a little cleaner for the price we paid, but overall I would stay here again if in the area.

Booked through Airbnb during COVID 19 (March 2020)
Sirawit was easy to communicate with and both owners were very friendly in person. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Outside our room, we had a table and two chairs overlooking the parking area, lined with green trees (red whiskered bulbul had a nest outside our room, we were lucky enough to see their chicks!) It is located in a peaceful area, not too much traffic passes by. WiFi worked well in the bedroom and outside. Shower had hot water. Free coffee, tea and hot/cold water at reception. A mixture of street food, local/western restaurants, cafes and shops close by. We extended our stay for many weeks as we felt very comfortable here. Highly recommend here.

Very cheap but to be honest we couldnt wait to move on. The room was infested with micro ants and the whole place felt like a string of garages with beds in them. Check it out before you agree to stay.

Nice friendly place. Laundry service is 40Baht per kilo next day. Hot showers! Quiet street but very near bus station shops and night bazaar. Spotted a couple of mozzies inside so the open doors on each floor should have mozzie guards installed.

Pros
Close to bus station, night bazaar, and restaurants. Clean, peaceful and quiet room. Cheap tour(I checked around the town, they have the cheapest 1-day tour in Chiang Rai). Free coffee and banana in the morning. Luggage room-very important to me.

Cons
Weak internet. The receptionist is not friendly. No street lights in this area.
