Maggots in my Thai green curry. Disappointed. Had I not found 2 maggots in my food, this place would have got a great 4.5 stars out of 5. However, the staff handled the situation pretty well and professionally, taking the price of our meals off the bill and paid only for the drinks - fair enough.

Key information:
- Proof of vaccination required
- Live band playing music
- Food arrives very quickly (10 minutes)
- Both Thai and Western food like burgers
- Prices vary, lots under 200 Baht but you can find meals just as good elsewhere for much cheaper
- Don't need a reservation, but was quite busy

The atmosphere was great with the band playing music - see the video attached.
The outside area is nice, with lanterns above, although there is not much of a view when dining at night (and probably in the day too). The food was good, before finding maggots in it, I would have rated my green curry a 7.5/10 and my family enjoyed their meals too. Also, the menu has a rating of how spicy the meal is with either no chilli signs if not spicy or 1, 2 even 3 if very spicy.

Without maggots I would definitely recommend this place, but unfortunately I did. Washing of vegetables here is something to question...

Excellent food, great view of the riverside, friendly staff. They also have a boat for dinner cruise which is awesome experience too.

A must visit when in Chiang Mai!

Clearly a popular place as everyone seems to know it.

Funky inside, looks like they have a lot of live music as a stage is permanently set up and it also has a large seating area outside.

All the staff were very friendly.

I had the Khao Soy dish (Beef) and was absolutely amazing. I would have come back the next day but unfortunately I was flying early morning,

Will 100% be back if I visit Chiang Chiang Mai again.

Great food. Beautiful river view. The fried fish with tamarind sauce was delightful. The Thai sausages are to die for.

Been there a few times, only ate there once. I would probably not recommend it as a restaurant because I personally like calmer places for that.

Nevertheless it is one of the best spots you can go to if you want to enjoy high quality live music with some drinks. Very good for partying and dancing with western and also a lot of thai people. Just be aware that the space is limited if you don‘t like to be in a crowd.
