Very friendly staff much appreciated they let me have an early check-in after an overnight train arrived. The check-in went very fast very friendly staff very impressed with the room for less than five hundred Baht per night. Refrigerator flat screen TV good air conditioning a couple of minor issues but this is nothing that would keep me from staying here again there are no electrical outlets near the bed. And the water pressure is a bit low but as I said this is not something that would keep me from staying here again. You have a choice of five different breakfast sets that are included as well and for under 500 Baht it's tremendous value great location 10 minutes to the night Bazaar

Our room was comfortable but the wash hand basin was outside our room through a door with a fly screen. Staff are polite and helpful. The location of this hotel is really good, within walking distance of the old quarter and the markets and boxing stadium. We absolutely loved it The kids thought that was the highlight of the holiday.

Great location and swimming pool but the hotel has a lot of room for improvement...

1. The bedroom SMELLS of humidity badly. 2. The bathroom is a disaster, the shelf on the mirror was almost falling so you couldn't really put your toiletries there or anywhere, the walls are humid there is mold, even water came out of the light one day... Oh and no power sockets in the bathroom...
3. Everything on the room is really old. Even the door looks like it might fall apart any minute...
4. The whole room only has 3 power sockets, all of them really far from the bed...
5. Breakfast is good enough, but really basic. They only offer 5 sets and they are all really similar. If you are a vegan forget about it... The coffee is TERRIBLE! Not even real coffee, just instant mix.

Staff is okay, really friendly. But I did complain about the "rain" coming out of the light of the bathroom and they did nothing. I also complaint about the AC, which was malfunctioning probably because the filter needed changing and they didn't change anything either...

We had a really lovely trip in Chaing Mai and we were bursting with positive energy, but our stay in Thana Guesthouse made us feel down. Quite basic rooms but we were comfortable. Years ago the people were friendly and smiling well I didn't see any of that this time. The hotel is situated in the centre of the city and convenient location.

The rooms are large and spacious. Did the job for what we needed but rooms could be a lot cleaner, swimming pool needs cleaned. I was apalled when I was leaving and handing back my towel with the *** behind reception yelling at me when I didn't have the receipt.

Second time I've stayed here.
Staff and Madam Aod remembered me from last year, that was a nice feeling.
Comfortable room, same one as last year (I requested it), sheets are clean, bed comfy, room cleaned and fresh towels daily. Cable TV. Free WiFi. Pool. Tour desk. Good breakfast choices. You can arrange to get newspapers delivered. Free bottled water daily.
Close to restaurants and Tha Phae Gate.
Staff always willing to assist with any request.
I'll be back.

Staff was so unfriendly
Breakfast was not really good
Hotel is nice and clean
Hotel was very close for the big market on Sunday
When staff more friendly then it would be a good hotel. Only the guy with long hair and mustache was smiling and friendly.
