Affordable. Having hot shower with cheap price. In a small street so it’s quiet.
The hotel is quite old, the lock of the door had an issue, the toilet had color of alum infection. Be careful with mosquitos, it bite my eye at the midnight and got the pain next few days.
It’s near the Sunday night market, just 20 or 30 min walking.
Finally, If don’t request too much, it’s worthy for short stay.

After having stayed in zillions of hotels, hostels, home stays etc, etc, the one comfort money couldn't and still can't buy me is human kindness and warmth.

Sarah, a lovely and highly intelligent person, treats her guests to great informative conversation about Chiang Mai (resident for many years) and other fun subjects , relaxed good-vibe accommodation with down-to-earth clean facilities and peaceful come-and-go freedom.

Yes the price is great, yes the beautiful, low key Husky and two cats make me feel like I'm home away from home and yes I can only remember a couple of stays in my travelling experience that I loved so much.

Nutshell? Mellow experience run by the queen of mellow. When you arrive, have a chat with Sarah and do what you travelled thousands of miles to do, chill out and let it flow !!!

Oh, and please, give the husky a hug from me????

We have stayed at this guest house several times. I like it because it's quiet and staff don't hassle you as I find many cleaning staff in hotels to be annoying. The location is also very central and convenient. I would however like to see them do a bit more with the property as there are many budget guest houses now in chang mai that only charge about 500 or 600 bhat a night and they provide aircon, fridgeand TV. We paid 480 and stayed 10 nights and a small fridge would have made a lot of difference. They were full every night we were there so I don't see why they can't upgrade abit. Also the shower water smelt of fish. We complained on the first night but was told someone would come and sort it but nothing was done. Overall I do like the place as it provides an oasis from annoyances, the pancakes are great and the dog Hunter is cute. The owner is polite and keeps herself to herself.

Like the saying goes.. What you read is what you get.. In addition to this.. We had booked the wrong date and the owner was courteous with assisting us with the change of date.. Their response was fast. The Internet WiFi isant strong in the far rooms from the reception. However all was quite and clean. Beds a little hard.. Otherwise all round happy with our stay.

I can recommend this charming guesthouse very highly! The landlady Sarah is very friendly and competent. The communication over the internet was quick, efficient and very professional right from the start. The rooms offer all that is important in this prize-range: everything is very clean, the beds and the shower are very good and the AC and WiFi work excellent. Right from the start I felt comfortable because the whole atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. I would come back any time!!! Cristine Frees

Good place and good booking on safari/cooking class. It is not a "fun place" where you are welcome by "ouah hello let s have fun" but a good quiet rest place very near from the old town and "very far" from her noisy life. Night market at walking distance. We recommand it as we loved it.

Super guest house. Really nice and help full hosts. Close to the old town. Room was clean and big (double room). Stayed there for 4nights. Can recommend this one for sure.
