Decent place for the price. It's cheap! We stayed as a couple with 6 bags in a double room. It was a bit squishy but very manageable. Had everything you need in there. Fridge, bathroom, air conditioning. The rooftop pool was nice for sitting/wading but not for swimming. The free buffet with the purchase of a cocktail was a good deal for a drink and a meal.

The walls are super thin so we was lucky we had quiet next door neighbors. Trust is a big part in hiring Scooters for me and they delivered a good service. You're at the end of the hustle and bustle but it's about a 10-15 minute walk to the night market and some night life. Great price for a 24hour hire. Would recommend this hotel to any backpackers.

The good:
Ac blows cool air, decent size tv(if you care)
Has small size balcony, bed is not horrible,
Has a small fridge and a table.

The bad:
Sheets wasn’t so clean had lipstick(?) marks on them, can get noisy during the night,
Small rooms, does not have a closet.

Who I would recommend to:
A single person or a young couple that wants to save, overall - not horrible but definitely not the place to stay in and get comfy.
If you stay here you better be out most of the day and comeback at night to shower and sleep.

I had a pleasant stay at Cheeky Monkeys but one must be aware the rooms are small (especially if two people are sharing a room), the swimming pool is more of a plunge pool (it has seats in where you can chill with a drink, rather than actually swim) and if you hire a motorcycle, the hotel will demand your passport (even if you are already a guest).

Positively, the staff are friendly (notably the bar staff at the roof top bar), which offer a free buffet a few times a week and the location is good, within seconds of walking to bars, restaurants and shops. The beach is about 7 mins walking away.

I may consider staying again if alone, but probably not if i was with my other half, due to the small rooms, but would visit the roof top bar for sure!

I didn't stay here so can't comment on the accomodation. But they have a roof top pool which is available to non residents, with a bar and seating area where you can order food and drinks!
They do offer special offers on cocktails from 3pm for a couple of hours.
The food is slightly more expensive than you may pay in other places, but you are getting to use their pool, which they dont charge for. Its a good place just to hang out with friends for a couple of hours. The pool isnt that big but its good to cool off from the mind day sun.

Located about 10 minutes walk from the main strip where you can find a lot of bars and restaurants. The hotel itself offers cheap rooms which are fairly clean and modern however not very spacious. Rooftop bar is nice with a pool and offers a buffet dinner when you buy drinks every evening (haven't tried it so can't comment on it)
