The perfect holiday location!
This place is absolutely magical - we went there for 3 nights, but liked it so much that we extended our stay. The staff (especially Mickey and the beach restaurant crew) are incredibly friendly, the food is amazing with very reasonable prices.
Roomwise we had the pool bungalows which were the newest one's and everything was perfect there. Besides of the lovely pool area - there's a very nice reef just in front of the hotel beach for snorkeling.
Definitely will come back again!

For your security stay away from this hotel ! We faced huge disappointments :
- No room cleaning during 5 days
- The shower wasn’t properly working (very weak flow which made it almost impossible to shower properly)
- The flush button of the toilet broke down so we couldn’t flush the toilet any longer
- They keep a bird into a small cage full of excrements
- And above all when we complained about this to the owner, her daughter interrupted the discussion in the most aggressive way. She screamed a lot, didn’t listen to us and attacked my friend by throwing him a bottle of water on the knee while she could see for sure that he was wounded (due to a motorbike accident). Then she ran at him sticking her forehead against his and oddly threatening to call the police ! We thought we were in a movie and we would wake up, but that was real… it’s a shame that the mother didn’t say anything to her crazy daughter. We are really shocked and will complain on Booking, we cannot let this people treat customers in a such way (we saw others comments which confirm our concerns).

What a wonderful place to be… Just wow… If you like snorkling then this is the place to be( we spotted octopus, stingray and so much more.) If you like serenity then this is also the place. We stayed at one of the simple beach bungalow, they are affordable and just perfect for our needs. The resort even have a wonderful pool area in high quality. So many bird art in the area, I saw my first king fisher bird here as well. You can choose to eat at the beach bar from morning to evening, and the price is affordable thinking how perfect the location is, and food is good. The owner and the staff are very friendly. Sunset here is spectacular. Beach area is so cozy, neat and just really high standard.
Oh I can go on… Wangsai Resort is the best in the area… Our new favorite place/resort in the whole of Thailand… We are definitely coming back here…

Great resort, one of my favorites on Koh Phangan. The walk to Koh Maa was nice but not as nice as I imagined. The room itself was awesome. Massages on the beach are fairly priced, not a rip off like other beaches. Go check out Nam Tok Wangsai (Wangsai Waterfall), 5 minutes away. I 100% would stay again.

Wonderful Resort on one of Phanghan's most beautiful beaches. Best place for snorkeling with a still amazing reef next to Koh Mah, tiny island just next to the beach. Very friendly and helpful staff. The superior bungalows are right on the beach. Newly built bungalows right next to the pool.

Such a beautiful place. Stuff are so friendly. They helped us a lot with the sandbox booking,different formulars, pcr-tests, motorbikes, ferry. Book by whats app...the owner is so helpful. We've been many, many times in thailand (at kohphangan the foutrh time)and this is defintely one of the best places we've been. We stay for 7 nights in a beachfront bungalow...simpleu0026basic,but enough! Wonderful beach, nice for swim and snorkelling or just for a walk to koh ma. Also very good to travel u0026 stay withs kids. Theres a small family mart near the resort.
One day,we go back there :)

Ok place, but a little too family-oriented for my liking. I think it is a little overpriced for the quality of the accommodation, which has seen better days. The kettle was falling to bits, the shower has no pressure, the lighting in the bathroom is very poor.
You wake up on the beach though and the snorkeling is ok(ish).
