A resort hidden in the jungles, right on the beach.
To get here, arrive to Koh Ma resort and walk along the beach to the left.

Don't, and I mean it, DON'T follow Google maps to get here! It will lead you through a suicide track, full of mud and rocks.

Speaking of the resort itself, it's pretty basic, a bungalow is just to spend a night or two, not to live here. There's no fridge in a cheap one and only a fan. In a more expensive one you'll find A/C and a fridge.

Free WiFi without password. Very quiet and peaceful location. Loved hanging out down this end of the beach

The resort is difficult to get to, if you hire a motorcycle the road is very tricky and if you aren't a proficient rider believe me its not for you. However I think if you arrive by taxi they can drop you off at the next resort along the beach which will then require a 10 minute walk to reach the beach bungalows at the resort. Its a tranquil location and the sunset are beautiful. Swimming is not really that easy, the shallow water is strewn with jagged rocks and corals which make it impossible to swim out to deeper water although you can swim in deeper water near the sand bar connecting Koh Ma. On the whole a lovely quiet peaceful location, great beach and lots to explore around the vicinity.

My special compliments to the hotel employees. Owner and staff were helpful and always smiling warmly. I found the bed to be quite comfortable. The furnishings are all very nice. Nice swimming pool and clan place. Nice beach bars and restaurants near. I found the entire hotel to be very clean.

Pros: Staff are great u0026 very hardworking. Always cleaning up the sites and sweeping up the sand.
Great view of the beach, best area for snorkeling. They let us keep our drinks in their fridge. Visited in late April and the beach was very quiet with few tourists.

Cons: The resort next to us has a short cut to get to our resort, but they don’t let you through. You have to walk alllll the way around to the end of the beach to get here. No road comes here- expect a 20 minute walk along the beach with all your luggage. No AC.

Summary: This is a cheap place to stay, we’re a group of 20/30 year olds on a budget backpacking through Thailand so we enjoyed it for the price.

The location works great for our purposes. Went out of their way to make our the stay exceptional. The staff were probably some of the most friendliest hotel staff. Small table was nice to have. Good value for what we paid. Last not least, there is really nothing close to the hotel.

5 stars may be a little over the quality of the bungalows, however, the staff are absolutely great, it is very close to the beach and they make a pretty decent coffee.

No parking available, and the closest place to park a bike is about 5 minutes walk up the beach, but I can't say it bothered me.
