Food was freshly made and delicious. We got Pad Thai and fried shrimp cakes with mango juice and orange juice. Service was very friendly and pleasant. Would recommend if looking for a bite to eat before hitting the beach!

I have stayed in Koh Phangan for 2 days, and always eaten in this joyful restaurant.
I particularly enjoyed the vegetarian option, which consists of all the most iconic Thai dishes.
I had Tom Yum, stirred vegetables and coconut soup and all the 3 were delicious!
Definitely a go to!

Delicious food, nice people and a marvelous Cook. Loved the Mango shake and the green curry soup… had many more and it was all very very good!!! Our compliments ????????

Roots is an old reliable in Mae Haad. Joey the owner is a local legend who previously had the famous Rolling Stoned bar on the beach for many years. The food in Roots Corner is authentic, super tasty and at a more reasonable price than the nearby high end resorts. The vibe is super chilled and so is the beer. Great for curries and seafood as well as good quality western dishes that are of a higher standard than the norm. Everything freshly prepared by Kaey in the kitchen. Joey is also great for advice on where to go and things to do on the island and he makes a killer coconut shake. If you're in the North of Phangan Roots Corner should be on your 'to do' list.

Food is wonderful,great portions and amazing service. Great care for guests adult and kids. Cheap and healthy, it's definitely the best restaurant on mae haad

Great food - try all the curry’s! The owner is very nice and you can ask if you want some food not to spicy! Price is also good.

We booked a tables because the night before we were unable to get in - this place is popular. Unfortunately it took 90 mins to get our food. Food was ok - just a busy night then I think with one person out front and one only in the kitchen.
