I had a double room which was big enough and had a nice, private bathroom. Unfortunately, the main street is very noisy and you can hear the traffic even late at night because the windows are very thin and don't close well. There are lots of motorbikes passing by, so bring ear plugs if you want to have a good night sleep.

Super super old building, very far from the beach and the way to the beach was a bit dangerous because we were walking super close with the cars and motor bikes since there was no walking side area. The lady at the reception was so nice and always ready to help us, very very good receptionist!!
The hostel is located in a crowded neighborhood but from the room you couldn't hear any noise, so yeah this was the best thing of our stay, we had a nice sleep.
Recomended just for 1 night and for the price.

Very worth the money, cheapest dorm bed 130B, they offer clean room, bed, sheets, clean toilet, hot shower and fringe in the room. A/C included. Shared microwave and hot water at 3rd floor. Friendly stuff. Can rent motorbike here 200B /d

The location is so so, need to walk at least 20mins to get to the downtown area.

The bed is hard, my back is really sore after 10days stay. No common area to make friends, no balcony to dry the laundry. ( so I brought a string and made a place to dry.)

Not a traveller friendly hostel. The day I went to the hostel, I had to wait for 30 minutes to check-in. The reception is outside the hostel and most of the times, no one will be there to attend the guest. After 8pm, staffs will leave and won't pick the call even if we need to contact for some emergency.

It was not my most pleasant stay, but for the price I payed, not too bad. People in my dorm were very unfriendly and I felt uncomfortable with them. I stayed in shared accommodation before and it was never as unpleasant..

Terrible place - and I never even checked in. When I arrived at 7pm no one was there to check me in. Luckily some local Thai people who lived there let me in and called the owner. I waited for over an hour and decided to just leave. I was inside for a while though... the place looked really unclean and the location is also quite far from the beach - a 30 minute walk. Whilst waiting I looked at the reviews for the place and was really shocked ... especially by the owner arguing with guests publicly - that in itself put me off too.

One of the cheapest accommodation in this area. About a 20/30 minute walk from the patong beach road, and the beach. This place was very clean, and had great air-con. Friendly staff, but wasn't too good at English, and next to cheap pad thai restaurant. They only let me book online for a second/third night instead of booking through reception which I guess is how they run it
