Honestly can’t bring myself to recommend this hotel to anyone. It’s 4 stars sure so you can’t expect 5 stars amenities or service, but I wasn’t expecting the air in the hotel room to smell like sewage, or only to be informed during check in that the electricity would be down for half the day on a Sunday. Which means no lights no a/c no heated water. The only service recovery for electricity being down was that they extended breakfast hours…? Er?

Staff are pretty hit or miss, mostly misses. No proper information, no help when you have issues.

Elevator also always crowded. Tons of people bringing back pros******, it’s quite obvious.

Rubbish place through and through. Will not return or recommend. There are so many better hotels nearby.

+ Offered upgrade to high floor with good view
+ Friendly staff
+ They let me check out one day early.

- Both rooms I checked had a bad smell from AC and second room had been sprayed with a sweet smelling air refreshener
- Noisy AC, second room was better.
- Plenty of short and long hair straws from previous guest on bed sheets
- Small pool on a relatively low floor

Overall:
I got the feeling of staying in a love motel due to the location, unclean bed sheets and bad smell of AC and the sweet air refreshener. I expect more from Marriott.

No problem with the staff, very friendly and helpful.

Very rude people. Got infected while staying here with covid, they called the authorities to pick me up so I get quarantined and then forced me to pay for the remaining days at the hotel even though I didn't stay there.

I didn't get my money back and I never will, but it's funny to be taken out of the hotel and to still have to pay for the room.

I also got visited by a family in my room who received the keys to my room. Staff made a mistake to give them the same room they gave me. This didn't upset me as much as the fact that I got kicked out of the hotel and made to pay for it.

A place to avoid for sure as there are many others around.

Great hotel, well situated with excellent restaurant and service. Specially breakfast has a large food selection. Staff very friendly. Some areas need small refurbishment but no doubt quality price is a geat option for stay in BKK. In the same street there are a lot of options for eating and drinking. So really good option

Staying here for 3nights to catch the game of the century - Manchester United vs Liverpool friendly 2022. The staffs are super friendly and location is strategically located in the core central of Bangkok.

Improvement- breakfast to be made more variety. The lobby bar should have more choices of food. And hope to see 1 or 2 more hotel restaurants either Chinese food or Japanese restaurant will be perfect.

I've stayed here a few times because my Marriott status supposedly qualifies me for upgrades that never seem to be available. It's an ok hotel in a pretty hectic area. The showers are designed so you'll always have water leaking under the door. The cafe in the lobby is strangely unattended in the morning, when you'd think people would be looking for coffee. It's open. The lights are on. But nobody's there (some mornings, others I find someone). Housekeeping might come at 10 or they might show up at 4pm. I won't stay here again. For the same price, you can get a nice place in a quiet area near the river that feels at least a bit like "Old Bangkok" rather than concrete jungle.

This hotel is located at a stretch of clubs and pubs. Night life is happening here! Right outside of the hotel is where the famous club levels located. Every night there is que to the club. Service is good, staff is very friendly. The room is spacious with a sofa and a large working table. Nearby there are alot of restaurants, massages and convenience store.
