Fascinating museum on the history of the common people in Thailand, from the prehistoric period until the end of the 20th century. Only 7 rooms but more than enough to leave well informed and willing to read more.

Very nice little museum, showing the history of labour in thailand from the early beginings to the 2000s.

Texts are also in english!

Entry is free, but a donation is welcomed. I got also a bottle of water as an extra :)

Further info is, that you have to ring the bell to get in, from the outside it looked closed at first.

Highly recommend this museum to get a glimpse into the history of toil and struggle of the Thai Working Class. Run by lovely and knowledgable people who will elaborate and treat you with the dignity that is stipulated under a classless society. ✊????

small museum but very interesting.plenty of exhibits anf historical facts covering the history of workers rights in Thailand. some interesting exhibits on Thai Burma Railway WWII and transport eorkers in Bangkok

In the center of Bangkok this Chiang Mai teak house is completely different. Easy to get to and worth half an hour at least.
