Dump. A place for tourists without a lot of interest in thailand, its people u0026 culture.... but drinking and getting layed. Check it out, after 20 min you got it, not a place to stay for too long.. much overrated since "the beach" anyway. Quality of food/massage rather low.

If you wanna drink some beers, have a good night, take a massage, grab something to eat, this is the right place
If you dont wanna see tourists, then you should probably avoid going over there

I bought few pieces and the guy who took care of me was pretty helpful. Khao san area is a zoo so if you are looking for quiet shopping dont come here.

I visited just for an afternoon because I had heard so much about it. I really just went to take photos and I had a great time. There's so much activity and color so a great place to take photos.

depends what you are searching for.. the good thing is that you can find everything. crowded and lively. not my cup of tea but not lacking of interest
