I had 2 coffee and green curry.
Coffee is a fresh hot coffee ☕️ great taste, not Nescafe!
Green curry was also tasty and fresh prepared
Not the cheapest food, but ok at the river AND quality! No service fee charged
Staff was very friendly and helpful

Came for a couple drinks at the end of the night. Friendly staff. Nice location to watch the fish in the canal.
They had a 3 for 1 happy hour on cocktails. Didn't notice any "service charge" as mentioned in other reviews.

Obligatory: I did not end up eating here.
We walked in to staff that did not smile, eventhough we did. We sat down and looked at the menu which showed some high prices, much higher than we were used to in the Thai cafés. So we decided to move on, having the feeling that we were being overcharged. And what do you know, when we walked out the person that invited us in came running after us with another menu with the price halfed. Telling us that we accidentally were handed the wrong menu, but that the menu that he was showing now was the 5-people menu. Needless to say we didn't go back in there and looked for a place that we thought was asking a fair price.

50THB for a small bottle of water
150THB for a dry chicken (with garlic and pepper)
Honestly the worst restaurant I had in my one month journey in Thaïland.

Rip off, they served alcohol on Buddhist day u0026 be warned they charge 20% service charge on all food and drinks. The alcohol we were served was of poor quality and left us feeling ill after one cocktail. Food was ok but prices were extortionate. I came here in Aug 2013 when it first opened and it was a good establishment with reasonable prices. Now it is just a tourist trap, possibly new owners.

Oh dear. Just read the reviews after I ordered my beer. The prices are on the high end for Banglamphu for sure. On the other hand it is a very nice spot on the canal to have a sundowner and my favourite 200m closer to the river is closed today.

Loved the food and the atmosphere. Great food and close to the Chillax Hotel where I stayed. I stopped here for breakfast each day of the weekend that I spent in Bangkok. If you sit on the canal you're basically sitting in the ally so don't expect privacy and both days that I stopped here there was an adorable little dog wandering about the tables that I really wanted to take home with me, not begging or bothering anyone, just hanging out. The food was fantastic, I didn't think that it was expensive, but I may not have been paying much attention to that. A great way to start the day.
