Friendly, comfortable boutique hotel. On a back street overlooking a canal so is nice to sit out for a drink in the evening when it cools (or is not as hot!).

Staff are very helpful and friendly. They write the first name of all their guests arriving on a board at the entrance. Nice touch!

Rooms are small but practical. Good water pressure and WiFi in the building.

Not super modern but has everything you need at a great price.

My Wife and I booked a room here for our honeymoon trip. The customer service was great and the rooms was top-notch, very clean, well made and spacious. The Bathrooms were clean and well kept. The food from room service was tasty. They also have excursion packages you can buy and go on, which was worth the money. The hotel is close the most of the action in Bangkok and the street food near the hotel is one of the best in the world specially the garlic fried chicken that they serve. When my wife and I go back to Thailand, we will be lodging here at the Korbua house.

Great service. The greeter really is a people person. Makes the arrival to the hotel excellent.

If you're looking to spend a few days temple viewing and exploring the touristy side if Bangkok this hotel is a nice base.

Not a week long reservation but for a couple of nights it's ace.

Nice room lighting and clean facilities

Cons
Bar is really setup for day use. We had planned on grabbing a beer on our way out but the night girl was sitting on her phone in the dark at 8pm.

No pool

Breakfast was poor.

Some amenities are a bit dated. Could use a spruce up (shower)

Korbua house is amazing! The location is perfect, lovely little view of the canal from the balcony, and within walking distance to many of the big attractions in Bangkok. The rooms are very well kept, but what really sets them apart is their kind staff. They were always very helpful and sweet during my stay and made my experience in Bangkok that much better. Highly recommend staying here!

Staff is really nice. Even if you did not pay for breakfast you have complementary coffee and cookies in the morning. Great location a bit away from crowded Khaosan. AC and small fridge. Nothing fancy, you get what you pay. The river close to the hotel is very nice but a bit smelly. Overall very nice experience.

This place is a hotel, but it also has a very adorable little restaurant situated right beside the canal. There are tiny little fish swimming in the plant pots beside you and I found that to be very cute. My friend tried Pad Thai here for the very first time and he absolutely fell in love with the dish. The staff were very kind and accommodating, the establishment is very clean and it's just off the main road. It's completely worth checking out if you're nearby and the prices are good. Nice place for a cheap meal!

We enjoyed a three night break in Bangkok at Korbua House. Lovely friendly and helpful hotel. Breakfast was lovely and taken on the waterside and you can watch several large lizards make their way along the opposite bank looking for fish scraps from the stalls. Yes, the river does smell, mainly in the evening, but you are in the heart of the old town. Plenty of good restaurants around and close to loads of shops and bars. I would love to go back.
