These guys are brilliant. We have been attending their free cooking class every Saturday for a few months now. They always go out of their way to accommodate us as vegetarians, and their regular menu is fantastic too. Very tasty food, extremely helpful and friendly staff. The owners even recommended a few other places for us to try which have also been a hit. Would absolutely recommend Sugar u0026 Spice for any meal, and the cooking classes on Saturdays. Very reasonably priced food, lovely surroundings and plenty of fans to keep you cool.

go here to have a lovely night out with great food friendly staff and of course most important of all the quality of the food. The Thai dishes are definitely recommended, the western dishes are also very good to eat and the price is also reasonable. You can also go here to book a tour That's what we did here. This was again very well arranged by the lady who arranged this

Owner-operated restaurant, offering excellent food with efficient, friendly service. Main emphasis on freshly prepared Thai dishes, but a selection of western items and all-day breakfasts are available. Reasonable prices and a free weekly cooking class. Highly recommended.

We came for Diner, but left with a lot more! Food was very good and freshly made juices were delicious. Furthermore free cooking courses are offered. We will definitely see us again ????

Tasty food with great portions and for a good price. Excellent service, the staff is very nice and speaks english.
I highly recommend the passion fruit smoothie as well as the spring rolls and yellow curry roti.
They offer free cooking classes. You can learn to cook easy and delicious Thai recipes. This is a great place to spend a few hours and meet people.
Note: the class is free but you pay for the food you will cook/eat.

Sugar u0026 Spice is also a great place to go for booking tours and ferries. They have good prices with great customer service. We booked a speed boat tour for island hopping and snorkeling and had an amazing day. Also booked a ferry to Krabi with pick-up and drop off for a far better price than other places.

We ate at Sugar and Spice just by chance one afternoon when walking around Kata Beach area. We were pleasantly surprised to find extremely high-quality and affordable Thai food that is 100% worth coming back for! The menu is massive and has pretty much anything you are looking for. Panang curry with roti, massaman curry, pad thai, and shrimp wrapped in vermicelli noodles (forgot the name of this menu item…but it was an appetizer, so look around to find it) were what we ate and they were all excellent! Definitely better than the restaurant across the street by a LOT.

When we were finished eating, the owner came up to us and asked if we were interested in attending a Thai cooking class! Surprised, we said yes, and asked the price (assuming it would be somewhat expensive). She then said it was a free cooking class and you only paid for what you cooked! So, if pad thai was 90 baht, you could cook it yourself and only pay 90 baht! We came back the following day and the cooking class was wonderful. The owner took so much pride in her food and that really made the class so much more.

If anyone deserves your business in Kata Beach, Sugar and Spice should be the one! Best restaurant in Kata Beach by far! ????

Had free cooking class and we come here often to eat Khao Soi for 90 baht. They have some dishes below 100 baht but most are above. It's very delicious! The people are really nice, especially Yian.
