This is overall a great hostel. There are two buildings to it and they are across the street (more of a walking path, really) from each other. I stayed in the one where the front desk is and it was very nice. Their double bed pods are excellent and seem brand new. The service was great. The location is pretty good as it's off the main roads so it's quiet and it's right next to bars and restaurants and is maybe a 10 min walk to Kata Beach which is very nice. The only criticisms I have are that the pool is barely a pool, more like a large hot tub with cool water on the roof, and it's not a super social place where you can meet people. It's set up very well for working remotely, which is why I chose this place. It has great internet and a few desks and tables to work at in quiet locations. I've stayed in dozens of hostels and I really liked this place. I'm sure you will too.

Very nice and clean hostel with welcoming staff and a very reasonable price. Good atmosphere, nice and chilled and a taxi ride away from the main walking street but very close to kata beach. The rooms were quite hot though as there was no control over the air con. Washing machines available for own use. Beds are comfy if a little cramped for two people.

Cheap with good location.
Fin is a good place to stay if you do not want to spend much on your accommodation but want to have a good location. Our only problem was the smell of the room but we bought some fragrance at the local market and it helped. Bathroom is good, room is small but private. The green at the balcony on the pictures are clearly photoshopped because we faced the wall of another building.
There is a great fish market just a block away which gives you the possible to have yummy dinners.

The best place to stay as there are no russians (that's a big ++++!) Cool communicative people from allover the world, nice bbq parties and polite staff. Also relatively close to the beach.

It's a great place, it's clean, beds are confortable covers are warm, A/C works. Showers all work, and have hot water, very clean, toilets very clean with toilet paper. Common area is the best!

Its a party hostel but you can actually sleep since its not that noisy. Lots of food around and bars too. Beach is really close and it doesn't have trash like other beaches.

Pros: Great, central location. Great owners, staff.

Cons:
General hygiene issues with the toilets and cleanliness maintained. Cleaned only once a day so the place stinks all day and sometimes all night. Breakfast is pretty average. Can be skipped entirely and eaten out. As a vegetarian had a much worse time than others, I guess.

Remember to not pay in advance for things like breakfast or such. They pocket the money even though they have a 'salad' as a vegetarian option when you offer to eat out coz they can't service you.

I stayed in a single capsule at FIN Hostel for two nights.

- Nice, kind and helpful hosts.
- The single capsule is excellent accommodation choice for what I payed. The bed and sheet were clean and comfortable. And even though can hold up to around 20 people it was still unexpectedly quiet in the room.
- Clean and convenient facilities, except the co-working room in which they need to clean the air-conditioner in order to get fresher air.
- I was driven to the bus station an hour away by the young lady in glasses. In the middle of our drive, the rain started pouring down. The young lady offered me rain coats to salvage my electronics. When arriving at the bus station, she helped me to find the way to the desk and to my bus. She was a star, thank you so much!
- When I had moisture into my phone, they gave me a bag of rice in which I could keep my phone during the night to drive out the moisture. Thank you for that!
- I forgot a singlet top, I will reach out to you separately to see if you can send it to my home address.
