Local southern Thai food. Cheap and good taste. The raw shrimp was superb - big and fresh. They used the claws for curry crab - peeled off the shell but there were still soft shells inside the claws. Difficult to find parking space. Lucky for us, we found a place in front of the cocoa shop beside the place.

Although the place looks like it’s falling apart and the ceiling looks like it’s going to cave in any minute, don’t let that deter you. This Michelin-recommended hole-in-the-wall eatery near the Bangkok hospital whips up some unbelievably delicious fare that I think at some point this is just plain culinary sorcery.

We got three items on the extensive menu - the deep fried pork which my wife inhaled in a few minutes, the deep fried garlic squid which was so crispy outside yet as soft as a cloud inside. How is that even possible? The biggest spell though was cast on this stir fried unnamed leaf with egg which was absolutely refreshing and delicious at the same time! My Google sleuthing came up with it being the “Chaplu leaves” but I’m doubtful still. Whatever it is, I want to get married to that plant that produces those leaves!

We paid 400 baht for that feast including drinks and it was money well spent.

has been passing by this restaurant many times, and finally step foot it to try for dinner. Taste is good n no fail. Ordered a stinky bean squid + a vege kale. ????????????

3.5 Don’t judge by the look of the restaurant. The food taste good and good price. If you want to experience local flavor this is the place. The menu is in thai but you can show them the picture from the review . This is their popular menu

We had the squid here. It’s so well cooked and the flavour was amazing. Great spot for authentic food make sure and stop here.
