Lovely resort buried in the jungle along a mountain side.

Good things: amazing views, friendly staff, the pool is very nice and has a dope pool bar. Very serene vibe and tucked away a bit from the town, but still very conveniently located. The gym is decently equipped. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the spa was really nice.

Bad things: hard bed and pillows, language barrier with room service resulted in a wrong order, and the food we did get was pretty poor. The wifi in our room was atrocious to the point of barely functional. The pool closes at 7pm which is a bit of a bummer but seems par for the course.

Overall a nice stay at good value for money, would recommend!

Overall a nice hotel. Walkable distance to Karon beach (~15 mins), close to 7/11, FamilyMart and many restaurants and shops.
Personal is okay, but they don’t speak English so much. The bartender at pool bar was very slow. We ordered a cocktail and waited for 20 mins and then cancelled as the bartender forgot about my order. Laundry is quite expensive (you pay per pieces, but per kg), so better do it in the city.
The elevator was very slow, usually it took about 10 mins to wait for it. Breakfast was poor, not so much fresh fruits or breakfast options available. Maybe in Asia it okay to eat fish or chicken for breakfast, but we were looking for something more fresh to eat in the morning.
Some rooms have jacuzzi at the balcony. We got that room but didn’t have a chance to use it. The pool is very beautiful with a nice view, but be aware that there are not so many sun beds available.

Amazing hotel with stunning sunset views. Breakfast is one of best what ever seen. Hotel rooms are big and staff friendly. Karon central can move with hotels transportation so taxi no needed, also evening trips to Patong available. Few things what need to know when booking this hotel, there is much stairs if golf car not working at the moment, so better confirm that if have example knee or other healthy problems. Also one big minus is toilets no have hand shower what is quite standard normally in Asia.

Stayed at the Karon Phunaka Resort for the last few nights of our touring holiday in Thailand. Booked this complex mainly for its location and wonderful views of Karon Beach and the coastline. Unfortunately, there was a price to pay - to get to our accommodation from the restaurant it involved one lift to get two levels up, another lift to get four levels up, plus 105 steps up to our room - not much fun on a very hot day/night carrying your bags etc.
On the morning we checked out the four level lift wasn't working which caused numerous problems getting our luggage and ourselves down to reception. Having said that the staff did their best in the circumstances. Our planned leisurely morning of having our breakfast and driving to Phuket airport turned into a last minute dash! Not to be recommended when you have 3 flights booked and a very, very long journey back home.

Older hotel with spacious rooms and a superb view over Karon village, the sea and the Big Buddha. I was on the 4th floor, to access the room you need to take an elevator and then a cable car (!) which is fun but a bit too long. Access from motorbike parking is dangerous, no stairs and the road is very slippery. Internet connection was very bad.

The rooms and facilties were sparkling clean and serviced frequently. The view from the room and balcony were every day again amazing. We were cheerfully greeted and genuinely welcomed by the crew. Don't look any further this is the best hotel in Phuket definitely I will come back and recommend it to all my friends.

A very good hotel with very attending personnel. Benjamas greeted us every morning with our coffee and our table by the outdoor waterfall and the biggest smile. The western style food is splendid and has a wide variety of choices that will not be boring to the pickiest of eaters.
