For those who is complaining about accommodations being outdated. What did you expect for $10 a night? You are on a secluded island in the middle of the jungle with 1 resort where you did not stay because it’s $50-$60 a night. Come on guys, be reasonable because we get what we pay for. From my experience these are very nice locals who work hard in order to survive COVID and a giant brand new resort that occupied beach area. Be humble and please support locals!

Beautiful place with beautiful people, feels like slepping in the outdoors with trees all around u, its simple but that's all u need for some peace and quiet
U can walk to railay beach at day
There's a small restaurant right at the front of the place with great food at law cost and lovely people who will be happy to see at any time

I had a great stay here for 6 nights. At first it was only meant to be 1 night but I enjoyed my stay so much I kept extending every night for another day. Great vibes, amazing people and such a local community feel around the place. You are truly immersed in nature so just enjoy it and don’t let a bug or two put you off. Bring decent mosquito repellent though!! This place will always hold a special place in my heart and I’d love to come back one day.

Awesome venue for super low key travelers. Take special care when looking at what amenities (no air con) are included here and the time of year you will be visiting. Very much on point for the price. Extremely nice, professional, and friendly staff. Many places nearby to eat food from, grab a drink, or even rent climbing gear.

Note on climbing gear: There is not business posted on Google for the stall that rents out the gear, but it is the best place in Tonsai beach area. Cheapest princes of all three places we checked out by far. Extremely personable and helpful shop owner. Definitely get your gear and helpful pointers from Max!

Great people and the bar is a nice place to hang out. Good areas to read, great fire show. However, the living conditions were very dirty, we had a mouse in our room, the "walls" and "floor" have holes and gaps. We could hear things/animals in the walls all night. It was hard to feel clean and sanitary here even after a cold shower. Lots of bugs. Loved the area but disliked being at our bungalow. Be ready for a camping environment if you would like to stay here.
