Great experience, we only visited for a few hours but wish we had stayed longer. Left at "4:20" and the tide went out so we had to walk our kayak over the rocks to get back to Railay. However after a quick "shake" we were back on track.

SUNSET BAR CHAPTER 1 or The night I met a talking goat named Chickens

I can’t remember wat the bartender’s name was but he was able to take out the bug that was stuck in my 3rd eye for days!

He also gave me a bamboo pipe filled with a fine thai medicinal spice that Cured my fear of not being able to finish the amazing Massaman curry from next door...

After clearing 12 drinks while talking to the other patrons (including famed 80s rocker Whitesnake who was knitting a pair of multi-colored mittens for his pet iguana “Muffins”) I walked to the back to let go of some of the fine adult beverages I had consumed.

That’s where I met “Chickens” the talking goat sitting crosslegged in the sand staring at me with a look of intense wisdom. Then he started to speak!

Sadly he only spoke goat which I do not understand.

Would go again!

They don't skimp on the mushrooms, but unfortunately the potency is inconsistent. Either way, the bartenders are great. This is the best, most happening bar on Tonsai.

watch out for one of the bar staff (the one who plays with fire). he stole my shoes in another bar, the next day he brought me another two pairs of old shoes and pretended that nothing happened. watch your things
