If you are a blog reader, this particular spot is over-hyped.

Coffee is okay (I had an americano). There are only espresso-based options (no drip coffee). There is a pastry case, but when I visited there were no pastries. The ambience is middling at best - the decor is rather shabby.

Ordered a cappuccino, the roast is way too dark. Seems like just a tourist coffee shop at great location without real coffee passion. Good to sit and admire the golden clock tower but not for a good cup of coffee.

I ordered the Pangkhon coffee (local beans???) the taste was quite special and a little fruity. Nice environment too with air con.

A good selection of coffees available in this very relaxing place playing easy going music.

A very pleasant shop with great stafe and great a/c. Coffee and cakes were both quality stuff. Will return.

It's been a while since I ordered a coffee I literally couldn't drink (first and last McCafe coffee last year). We visited Pankohn Coffee because we visited the farm and wanted to experience the flavour of the beans. I couldn't taste the beens as they were burned to a crisp due to barista error. It was inconsistent to my partners also which was quite a lot lighter and 10x hotter than mine (she burned her tongue).
I don't blame the barista. She was hired and clearly not trained properly. Management is a factor here.
I was very disappointed I didn't get to experience Pankohn coffee as having seen the farms and the fresh beans myself, believe it should make a great cup.
