We came here for making merit and also kayaking. The greating about this place is the boating pier behind the temple. You paid 50 baht/person with unlimited time on kayak or canoe along the Ping River. Great activity both for children and adults. Hidden travel activity gem in Chiang Mai

Behind the temple you can do kayaking activity for 50 baht per person. It is so great to see Ping river and air reflecting. Please make sure your arms strong haha. It is really fun. If you ever want to go, please go at the evening around 4 pm because every kayak must come back at 8 pm.

Very quiet and nice temple directly on the Ping River. The temple is also a training centre for the Thai National kayak team, so you can actually rent a kayak for an outing on the river from the temple.

Canoe rental from the monks for 50 baht to explore the ping river, very good kayaks and well worth it

The best place for canoeing on the weekend that very romantic in the cheap price. You can see the local who live near the river and also the sunrise in the evening.
