Had a fantastic time cooking with Aoy! She was very knowledgeable in Thai cuisine and was a lovely teacher. There are plenty of dishes to choose from and we all picked and made four each. Not only was the course fun, but the food was amazing.
I highly recommended Galangal for anybody wanting to learn more about Thai cuisine. Definitely the highlight of my time in Chiang Mai.

We visited the Galangal Cooking Studio while on our honeymoon and it was one of our favorite activities of our 2 week trip. Aoy was such a breath of fresh air! Her humor made the class so fun and we made the most delicious food that we cannot wait to make for our family when we return home which will be easy thanks to Aoy sending us the recipe book via email. I would highly recommend this class!

This was one of the best experiences we have had in Chiang Mai. Aoy welcomed us as if we were family and took care to explain the purpose and use of each ingredient, while walking us through the preparation and cooking of each dish. She also gave suggestions to help us substitute some ingredients when cooking in Canada, that we may not have there. It is clear why Aoy and her cooking school have recieved nearly 1000 5-star reviews on Trip Advisor. We cannot recommend Galangal Cooking School enough!

Had a great time cooking different meals with Oy. A few concessions had to be made because of the flooding but was a great experience nonetheless.
This is my second time with Galangal, the first time being in 2019 and it was just as good!
Highly recommended this to anyone wanting to do a cooking class in Chiang Mai.

This is the highlight of my trip in Chiangmai. So much fun to learn how to cook Thai food. Going to the local market to learn cooking ingredients. Our instructor New is very patient and helpful, ready to answer any questions. Amazing experience. Strongly recommend.

If you want to learn to cook as a Thai this is the perfect place. The staff is well prepared and with the knowledge to answer any of your questions regarding ingredients and preparation.

The class was in a small group of 6 people. So the two teachers had the time to give us proper attention.

The class was very fun and the visit to the market is a nice way to get familiarized with the typical Thai ingredients

Amazingly delicious dishes, and New was the best instructor ever! She was very patient and helpful and knew all the tricks. Thank you for a delicious meal!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ The market visit was such fun and I got to eat so many delicious fruits!!! Thank you again!
