A beautiful and quiet resort in the middle of the city. We stay here often and love the comfortable beds, warm hospitality, and the small touches of Thai Culture everywhere you look. The owner is an exceptional chef and has an eye for detail. We would recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing, peaceful, memorable stay.

Fantastic hotel! The beds are so incredibly comfortable it was hard to get up in the morning. Decor is very peaceful, lots of green plants everywhere. Breakfast is simple but filling, with brewed coffee (not instant coffee) which we truly enjoyed! We ate dinner there one night as well and the food was delicious. Staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

We LOVED sugarcane! Everyone is so friendly and kind and the ambiance is amazing. It’s decorated so nicely. Breakfast is simple but satisfying with a variety of yummy, good quality options. They also had really good looking lunch and dinner menus but we never were able to eat at the hotel during those times :( The pool is really nice, good temperature, clean, exactly like the pictures. Saw in a review the beds were comfy... it’s so true. We have been traveling for a month now and these are the best beds yet. The bathroom is nice and clean as well with a great shower and tub. They provide free waters and little cookies you can buy as well as ice cream and stuff - cute little touches that make a difference. Overall a really great quality hotel. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone!

Great value for money. Location is a little isolated but a quick grab ride gets you most places. 10-15 min walk to the square.

A few minor things pull this place down a little. The rooms aren't well insulated, so the noise of showers, shoes etc is very loud.

But including nice breakfast makes it a great value hotel. Wife loved the friendly cats which roam the hotel.

Myself and my boyfriend stayed here while backpacking through Asia. Sugar Cane should be classed as 5 star hotel! The hotel is gorgeous and the rooms are a decent size. Bed was so cosy. Pool area and breakfast area was lovely. So many toiletries left in the rooms for guests. The lady on the reception couldn’t have been more helpful. Would 100% recommend

This hotel goes above and beyond all expectations. The rooms feel quite spacious and luxurious; they even include a private balcony with a ceiling fan. The complimentary breakfast is very yummy and filling. The location is great for walking throughout Chiang Mai. Finally, the host is very nice and thoughtful from check in to check out.
