Possibly the best guest house I have stayed in , in all of Thailand. This place has a lovely interior design, is super clean, has perfect air conditioning and even a lift for your luggage. Staff are very friendly and can offer you an umbrella if a downpour starts. Beds are very comfortable, the bathroom is amazing with hair products to use for free and a view of the whole city and surrounding area. I would totally recommend it, this place is family friendly and extremely affordable! :)

Nicely decorated, convenient location and decent bed. Room was street side so it was noisy but you get used to it. There are ants but they don't bite. Very reasonable price for the location.

Beautiful hotel, oriental-arabic style decorated. Friendly staff, perfectly clean, rooms are quite big, shower is great, with hot water and high water flow. Best price/quality ratio in town! Would absolutely come back here whenever I'm in Chiang Mai !

There isn't a perfect hotel and there are always some issues that hinder it from being a better hotel than it could be. Let me start with the NAY:

Only 2 car park, and have to share with motorcycle. Lower ceiling means, watch out for your head at all times. The pillow is flat and none existence, time to change a new one. The toilet door is quite dirty along with the dirty cushions on the floor. The toilet door doing a great job separating water but the drain hole (there is only 1 in the toilet) cover needs to be removed for water to flow through. Careful as flooding may happen when you least expected. The common kitchen space is filled with stuffs and too filthy to use.

So what's GOOD?
Tong's service level is amazing and probably best I've experienced. There's a small balcony. The air cond is obviously overkill for this room size which is good. Love the stylish, simplicity design or room, lamps and even the open space wardrobe. Huge mirror! Enough floor space for several luggage.

I've never seen a room as wonderfully art deco Thai/Arabesque as the one I stayed in last night. Spacious, with walk out balcony, big fridge, good shower, new aircon, great mood lighting. Pleasant staff, super clean (they have a robot vac in reception and house slippers on offer there too).
The small things that could be improved.
1. The light blocking curtains in my room had a large gap on the side, just how they hang, I suppose, but it matters to late sleepers.
2. The bathroom could use a small hand soap, the only amenities were tissues, and bottled shower gels.
3.The gels were in glass bottles, which is a pretty big safety concern. Broken glass on black wet tiles would be no fun to deal with if you dropped them showering.
4. Some storage shelves needed in the bathroom. Nowhere to put a travel wetpack and other toiletries.

As others have said, you need to be able to handle stairs.this place has six floors, and no elevator, tho there's a bag hoist.
There's plenty hot food options right at the door, the night bazaar and some "classic" night life bars are less than a block away.

Overall, I'd definitely recommend this place to millennial couples, or solo female travellers, the area at night is busy and we'll lit, and the entire building and it's rooms are really quite charmingly pretty.

Beautifully tiled. Easy going staff offering good service. My room was perfectly furnished, not over-embellished.
Wish the lighting were a little yellower.

A beauty hotel with Thai decoration. Our room is cleand every day for free. We also have free breakfast. But it was the same for three days (eggs, sausage, bread, pork)we stay here ( super boring). It has no lift here. We rent the rooftop, and it will be wonderful if they plant some trees or flower in the garden.
