One of the best steak finds in town, wagyu. I tried the fall of bone lamb shank special 499b ( pic), spectacular w/ mint sauce.

I understand the owner goes to the Bangkok food show every year, and has spent a great deal of research in finding the best vendors/ suppliers. He’s been in business for 10+ years.

Great food. Prices are a little on the higher side. But they have a good variety of starters for 89 baht. Wednesday is half price house wine (75 baht). Polite, friendly staff and good ambience.

I ordered lemon chicken for takeout as it was supposed to be char grilled, and even before placing the order i confirmed if it will be char grilled and i was ensured it will be. i waited half an hour for it to be prepared but to my dissappointment it turned out to be tasteless boiled chicken. Not only they lie but they also try to make a fool out of you , wont recommend this place...just below ediable food.

I came away a bit disappointed. Nice bar area pleasant place for a catch-up with friends. The food however was a let-down. The roasted chicken was bland, dry and covered with a dark green chutney-like sauce that was not in the description and did not pair well. Portions were light considering the price. I can not say that my dish was a good value. I will give it another as there are pleanty of Australian steaks to try and service was efficient and friendly.

Service is very good. Prices are high but you get very large portions. My husband really liked his lemon grilled chicken with vegetables and date potatoes. I didn't like my "Greek" chicken. It was a chicken breast with spinach, almonds and feta on top in a lemon gravy. My chicken was also rubbery. Maybe an off night for the chef.

Maybe I'm losing my mind but I found this place so grim that I had to leave. The interior is a kalidiscope of bad taste with elevator music and a few bored expats scattered around like a scene from Twin Peaks. I visited because Maps said it was a Mediterranean restaurant but it isn't. It has some tapas dishes mixed into a confused menu with about five different cuisines. I'm not sure what people see in this place but I'm clearly not the target market. Maybe the owner is really nice or something. I didn't eat anything so I can't say whether the food is good or not

Perns is one of my favourite haunts in Chiang Mai. Always a friendly greeting on arrival from the owners and staff. I like the Consistently high standard of food from the menu which ranges from tapas to one of the best steaks in town. Draught beer and Guinness is a big bonus.
