Mosquitoes got through the ripped screen, which made sleeping impossible. The room smelled like urine and beer. The bathroom was dirty. The towels had rips and stains. The staff were rude. The Home Place Hotel is a great place to avoid.

Nice place. Clean, quiet, comfortable beds. Rooms are small but adequate. Staff is very helpful, but with limited English. They have a good, fast, and inexpensive laundry service.

A small basic hotel, nothing grand at the wildest stretch of the imagination but the location is excellent.

The staff are excellent and very helpful, the rooms are basic but for a few nights or and adventure weekend in the city it just works.

Cheap and basic. Location is very good - close to the old city and surrounded by restaurants, bars, and cafés. I'd be willing to give it another star if it had been cleaner, but despite that it was a positive enough experience.

Nice place located in a quiet alley very close to the old city. Nice and clean rooms. Only bad note was that the bathroom window faced directly onto the main corridor and that allowed the loud tv sound of our neighbors to wake us up at 6.30 am

the room was pretty good for the price. I was underwhelmed by the service and they even lock the doors at night so you have to wake up someone to get back in, which felt awkward. The room has cable with a few channels that aren't in all Thai, so that was nice. They do daily rental bicycles. The location is convenient and near some ruins.
