We went on tour of waterfalls, temples, tribal village. The tour itself was great, the guide was good too. However, the vehicle was awful. It was clear to us that this was a 10 passenger van that had been converted to 12. As the last ones picked up we got stuck in the last row. This row was literally a box shelf built out of plywood, covered with carpeting with a bench seat mounted to it. There was no leg room at all. There was also no air that far back in the van. Because of the way it was built, the seat was elevated so much that my feet couldn't touch the floor. Every time our driver slammed on his brakes or swerved out into oncoming traffic to pass a slower vehicle, I was thrown from side to side because I had no way to balance myself. My husband and I both had scrapes on the back our legs from the rough areas of plywood and I even got scratched when I grabbed at the seat and hit an exposed nail. This company seemed to be more interested in making money off a few extra passengers than in the comfort and safety of those passengers. I would happily visit Chiang Mai again, but I would not tour with this company. By the way, I contacted company with my concerns before writing this review, but did not receive a reply.
