We wanted to visit a camp with good care for the elephants. A friend recommended us this place and we are so glad we followed her advice! We had an amazing full day at the camp with a small and fun group. We followed the daily activities of the elephants. You can see them very close but they are doing their own thing at a distance most of the time (which is very good we think! No entertainment business!). They were free and looked very happy. The founder, guide and local staff were super friendly, gave lots of information, answered all our questions and made a delicious lunch. We recommend this place 100%! The only thing we liked less was the ride with a red taxi from the city to the camp. We think another vehicle would have been more comfortable, but we had great conversations with the other participants during the ride :)!

If there was a way to give them more than 5 stars I would. The elephants are so friendly and getting to swim and hike with them was an amazing experience. The food served was delicious and the staff were super friendly, the guide and founder spoke very good english and clearly had very strong and loving relationships with each of the elephants. The elephants can freely roam and do whatever they like, it’s amazing to see them thriving in their environment. When I accidentally left my water bottle behind, they went out of their way to deliver it back to me as well. I highly highly recommend, not only is it an amazing experience, but it also doesn’t break the bank!

Great experience. Happy elephants and happy people! Elephants have lots of space and freedom to do what they love. Walking with them in the forest was amazing and it brought us a lot of joy just observing their play and behaviour. Also the guide was super friendly, caring and honest about the situation of elephants in Thailand. Definitely recommend for anyone who is looking for ethical experience!

My husband Patrick and I did a full day experience at Into the Wild and it was truly wonderful!

Firstly from what we saw all day this is the most ethical and caring sanctuary you can go to. The elephants are not chained or hurt in anyway, they have a routine because they are domesticated but the keepers, many of whom are from the local Karen people, take care to make sure the elephants have routines that match their natural state.

The experience itself is amazing, the sanctuary is truly in the wild and such a cool place. You get to hand feed the elephants, trek in the jungle with them, make herbal medicine for them, and bathe with them. The guide Mike is really knowledgeable and friendly.

Spend your money wisely: book this tour and you will not be disappointed and it will go to a genuinely ethical sanctuary that supports the local community!

We had the most wonderful experience! When we got there, we were the ONLY tourists which made our stay feel so authentic! Our guide was very friendly and his english was great. We got to hike with the elephants in the forest, feed them, rub dirt on them and bathe with them, it was an unreal experience! Everyone there was so familiar and gentle with the animals, you could feel that they genuinely loved living there. There wasn’t even a fence, they just lived on the property freely. This couldnt have been a better experience, we loved every second of it!!! 11/10

Into the wild...and it's true! It was a really exciting experience! Elephant are not in chain and the staff is really respectfull of their life and environment. You'll feed them, take a walk into the jungle together(NOT RIDING THEM) and after a launch, you'll have a bath with elephants into the river! A unique experience that will definitely be a terrific Thai "souvenir" :)

10/10 ELEPHANT EXPERIENCE. RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE.

This was one of the most incredible experiences in mine and my partner's life. It ticked every box that I could have asked for - free roaming elephants, super friendly and relaxed, well-fed and looked after and obsessed with the wonderful attendants who care for them. Amazing scenery in what is essentially an elephant's dream playground.

We booked a half-day tour. Our guide was outside our hotel at exactly the time specified and drove us to the park with a halfway stop at a local market. There is lots of land and a stream in the middle of the park for the elephants to drink from and bathe in. You are provided an explanation of where the elephants came from - some rescued from the logging industry and others from the conflict borders with Myanmar to protect them from residual IEDs. You are given bananas to feed them and then you for a walk through the forest whilst they graze and play. You are then given a delicious traditional lunch whilst watching the elephants just be themselves in a natural habitat. You then are able to bathe them in the stream where they enjoy it just as much as the humans!

It was everything that you would want to experience from an Elephant sanctuary. I was very hesitant when choosing a location for this experience because reviews are very misleading and I am extremely against the activity of riding and the use of chains. This park had NONE of the above. I was even more heartbroken to read that most of the awful reviews are from COMPETITORS looking to ruin a honest business. Most of the pictures attached to these sordid reviews are NOT EVEN THE SAME LOCATION OF THE PARK. It is a horrible thing to actively try and ruin people's livelihood with lies.

Everything we saw were people who genuinely cared about the elephants and a beautiful landscape that could really use financial help in anyway possible. I am so happy to have chosen Into The Wild and would encourage everyone to please support this park.

Thank you to the Into the Wild team for the best time! u003c3
