Cheap, but authentic and delicious food. It’s not very big and there aren’t too many food stalls. There are some Chinese food, dessert, a some Thai food. Some food stalls get a really long queue at certain hours. Better go here during the sun set.

Night food market with various thai traditional food. The place is full of locals what gives you the real feel. Prices are really cheap and the food is really good. Perfect place to go if you want to eat real local food.

Feels a little bit touristy for a traditional night market.
I tried the pork leg rice from the lady with cowboy hat and duck noodle close to the entrance and it was okay especially for considering the price, delicious but I often had better.

Visited by locals and tourists alike, this market has a decent selection for sit down meals. We stayed up the more vegetarian end which was noticeably quieter than the other end, but the food was really good! So give that end a chance too. The weird coconut pudding dessert is pretty good too.

Delicious and cheap food options! It was always our alternative to save the night when the restaurants were closed. We highlight the fried chicken with sauces for 50bht, the filled bread dim sum for 15bht and the "crepe" at the end of the market for 40bht.

The north gate night market was our favourite when visiting Chiang Mai. The food was very cheap - we ordered 3 dishes and cost us THB 90 and the dishes were very very tasty! The shop we visited are shown in the pictures. The cold pork is a must have dish - hot, spicy and plenty of flavours. Highly recommended night market in Chiang Mai.

Recommend the food from the seafood stall and Som Tum were good. There was a stall with a long queue selling fried cabbage noodles but I did not try.
