After reading reviews from here I decide to give it a try to experience sleeping in Lannah style. The room is small and cozy, enough for a queen size mattress. Every room has a bathroom attached which is a huge plus. When waking up in the morning I can hear the bird singing and rain drops. That’s truly relaxing! The host is really nice and accommodating. Nice place to stay during your trip in Chiangmai

We had a great stay in one of the bamboo bungalow. It felt so good to sleep here and with even a private toilet with warm shower (but was so hot outside that we didn't need to switch it on).
The room are perfect for independent travelers and do not expect air con or big resort commodity, which is exactly what we like.
Also the area is gorgeous and at walking distance to all the sights.

Authentic traditional beautiful bamboo houses. Amazing unique accommodation. We absolutelt loved it. Not to mention the owner Ploy, is one of the nicest people you will ever have host you. We stayed here over new year and she invited us to have dinner with her for no cost. She also gave us a gift at new year, a little keyring. Truly wonderful stay

Very nice place and the hosts are very welcoming. The cabins are made of bamboo and despite the hosts telling us that they had complaints, nothing could actually prepare us for the experience. It's basically like camping but with a bigger and more spacious room. The couple next to us stayed in the whole time we were there for the Lantern Festival and with paper thin walls we could literally hear everything, including moaning and panting... Awkward but ok... Still enjoyed the stay and would probably stay again.

Authentic bamboo bungalows with friendly and helpful owners. Bedding is clearly not washed after every guest which is the biggest downside. Great location and clean bathrooms. Please note that bungalows offer little to none sound isolation and it’s easy to get woken up by other guests and the chickens which make a lot of noises in the early morning if you are not a heavy sleeper.

Just amazing ! It is for sure the best place to stay in chiang Mai. The locating is perfect, you are close to everything by foot and you have loads of shops and street food around. The place is so charming and quiet. It's so nice to stay in a typical and original place. Much better than an hotel ! The staff is so friendly, they always give you good tips and informations for your trip and they help you to rent scooter and car or even for booking some activity (Mai Thai fights for example). You room have everything you need, fan, private bathroom, mosquito protection and it's very clean. I was just a little bit worry that it is to warm but it's not at all :) I defenetly recommend this amazing place.

Came here with my gf and had booked for 1 night. We loved it so much we booked it an extra 4 nights. I will go through each reason why. Location: it is inside the old city so you can pretty much walk everywhere easily. It is also close to a really nice market which opens in the evening and sells an amazing array of foods. It is also very nice and quiet as it is kinda off the busier road. They have a rooster that crows in the morning. It woke me the first morning but i didn't hear him the others. Facilities + Room: The rooms are very clean and come with a nice clean bathroom. There is a mosquito net and the bed is on the ground. For people worried that it will be too warm...don't be. We were here in March when it's hot but we were perfectly cool at night with the fan on. If fact some nights we turned off the fan as it made us cold. They provide a little coffee station at the reception which you can use. There is no breakfast but honestly you don't need it with so many places to eat nearby. Staff: I could write all day about how amazing the staff are here. They are just so friendly and helpful. They were a big part of what made our time in Chiang Mai so great. You really have this homey feeling when you stay here. Price: Incredibly cheap...helps you save for the excursions such as seeing the elephants (ps. Never take the elephant riding tours. What they do to elephants for this and other tricks is absolutely disgusting) Conclusion: Just stay here and you won't regret it. It is a little gem in the center of the city run by the nicest 2 people in the whole of Thailand.
