Super cosy bar with a great owner. Great place to chill in the middle of the day to cool down with a Chang and watch the people passing by or just reading for a bit. The owner always remembers the past customers.

A fantastic bar that you might overlook at first, however the owner is friendly, kind and even has great card tricks. You can’t find a better price within the Old City and you will always feel welcome, regardless of whether you’re a foreigner or a native (seriously, it comes out to about $4CAD for a large Chiang beer, you’re not gonna find better). Cannot recommend enough!

We were just looking for a close place to drink the night away and somehow found a bar where we ended up coming back every night; it is easily one of the highlights of our trip. Thank you to the owner for being so welcoming!

The owner is real friendly, the drinks are cheap, locals n tourists hang out here together and it was only 3 minutes from our hotel. BONUS TIP: on the same street side near this bar you find a street vendor selling fried ice cream. Get your ice, get back to the bar and grab your Chang and enjoy your night.

My favorite Chiang Mai place and a comfortable spot for traveling people to meet locals. Felt very welcome, we shared (Indian) food multiple times and I even got invited to a Thai party by the regular guests of the bar.

I red the previous comment and it kind of hurts to see the situation described. I truly think this must be based on a misunderstanding. ????

Great Little bar frequented by locals and tourists alike. Mr L is a brilliant host and is always on hand with a frosty Chang and a smile. Unlike a lot of the bars in town Mr L also serves spirits at seriously low prices! Thanks for the good times Mr L, we'll be back. Ian u0026 Cariad.

This place is My Favorite Place in Chiang Mai. Pocky(owner) is a awesome guy and place is cozy, relaxed you definitely wanna have some drinks at here.

Not like other places where it's loud and too crowded or something like that. You'll meet locals here and have nice conversations. I've been there mostly everyday of my stay in Chiang Mai.

I've read review which says he(owner) stole money but it's not true. I'd say. 100％ sure. Cuz I was there when that argument happened. I clearly heard what was going on and saw his money box too. That guy seemed drunk and couldn't even recognize the notes he handed to him. when he paid.

Additional info, one night I overpaid because I was pretty drunk and couldn't see the notes correctly, BUT Pocky(owner) kindly gave me money back and explained me that I overpaid.

Do not judge him wrong way. Because of that review, he is cool guy you can chill with, even you can get nice advice for your travels.

Atmosphere is great. If you want to find the best family bar in the Chiang Mai you need to be here. Owner is the really friendly guy. I would recommend this for everyone.
