Neat hostel Chiangmai

I stayed here with my friend last summer. I forgot to write a review back then but really enjoyed my experience so I'm finally writing one!
The hosts of Neat Hostel are the nicest people that I could have hoped would be running the place.. They gave us suggestions and set up a day trip for us to go to an elephant sanctuary. The rooms and showers/bathrooms were clean. They provide a small breakfast in the morning, which was perfect for us (toast, butter, jam, etc.). If I were back in Chiang Mai, I would definitely stay here again. Before Neat Hostel, we stayed at a nearby hostel for one night that was much more crowded and 'youthful' but we found this place to be nicer because it was quieter and felt more personal since the owners ran the place.

This hostel is exceptionally clean and well maintained, and I really loved my stay there. I stayed for a total of 4 nights and was very happy with the quality of the service provided. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. The sheets and bedding provided are very clean. What's nice is that each bed has its own private curtain that closes all the way, and you get your own plug and light. You can quietly attend to your own affairs with your curtain closed even when others are asleep in their bunks. I've never experienced that before in a hostel. A clean towel is included with the accommodation, and so is a small complimentary breakfast each morning. The wi-fi is great, I had no problems with it at all. They have entry-code locks for the doors - the main door and the dormitories. So it's very secure. There are lockers provided for users to store valuables, though I would have preferred code entry for the lockers instead of locker keys. I'm extremely impressed by this hostel and the owners, and will definitely refer friends here, whether it's a for a short term or long-term stay.

Very spacious female dorm with a comfortable bed and personal curtain. No locker inside the room but they are right outside (just medium-size). Clean shared bathrooms (no shower gel nor shampoo though). Owners are a nice and helpful couple. Great value for money. Would stay again!

The hostel has a very central location. The couple working there is very nice and the people staying in the hostel were very inspiring. Even if I stayed there only for one night. The towel costs extra... I did not like that and the fact that there were not any sheet. Just on the pillow. But the pillow was perfect :-)

My favourite hostel in Chiang Mai, and I stayed in five in total. The couple who runs it is very friendly and accommodating. Everything is clean, the beds are super comfortable. There's a nice energy inside. Highly recommended!

Extremely friendly hostel staff. Somewhat spacious and very affordable. Would totally consider staying here again for next visit to Chiang Mai

Very well located, clean and comfortable. May and Puppet are extremely nice and helpful, they really went the extra mile to make sure we had a good time.
