Great value! Dorm beds in mixed rooms are comfortable u0026 private. Showers get hot, they provide bigger lockers for free use if needed, and excellent location. Marissa, who runs the hostel, is fabulous. They also rent bikes for only 50 baht per day! Will definitely stay here again.

Loved my time here! The owner is extremely nice and helpful. She offers free drinking water. The hostel is clean, my bed was comfy and had curtains for added privacy. Aircon was excellent. Pretty chilled place, good to relax , not for partying.

Warning: Many of the pictures shown on this profile are incorrect, the luxurious pictures are actually of a nearby 3 star hotel; very misleading.
This budget hostel is in a good location but the place has issues. There is a big mosquito problem in the halls and bathrooms. I asked the owner could I leave my bag in a locker until one hour after the check-out time, she seemed angered by my request and tried to keep half of my deposit in exchange for the extra hour of locker use. The owner lied to me and my friends; she said that other guests would be staying in our dorm room so some of the beds were off-limits. No such guests existed, I don't know why she lied to us about this, maybe she thought this would keep us quieter? There were some weird rules at the hostel. Owner enforced expensive fines eg. 500 baht for using any spray product while in your bedroom.
Woman who run the place had an awful attitude, rude and grumpy. Altogether an unpleasant hostel.

I wasn’t impressed, the booking allowed for 7am check in. However when I arrived after 13 hour train the bed wasn’t available. I requested a bottom bunk they said I could get a bottom bunk in the all female dorm I had originally booked after 11am when the other guest had checked out. Until then I could rest in an upper bunk in the mixed dorm but that the A/C would be turned off during the day. I’m used to that in Thailand anyway.

At 11am however, they tried to put me in a top bunk in the female dorm. I asked why she said there would be a bottom available, she had no response other than it wasn’t available. Two reasons I needed/wanted a bottom bunk. I had a biopsy on my foot the day before in Bangkok, and it’s always so hot in the top bunk.

Anyway I politely asked for a refund and to check out the next morning and told her I would stay in the current bunk because why mess up another bunk for no reason. When you walk in the dorm it is nice and cool from the A/C. There are privacy curtains in the bunk and fans on the ceiling. It was literally SO hot in my bunk even with the curtain half opened that the back of my shirt was wet with sweat. Not to mention the fans weren’t on at any point giving ZERO air circulation in the room so all of the cool air wasn’t getting circulated.

The bed was big and would have been very comfortable if not for the temperature. I also like that there was a bolster pillow in the bunk too. There aren’t enough toilets. No towels were provided. Paint was peeling off the ceiling.

The owner however, was very friendly refunded me for my second night no questions asked and even apologized for the misunderstanding with the top/bottom bunk situation. In her defense I never spoke with her about the fans or how hot it was in the room.

The owner is nice and helpful. Location is decent, there is a market within 5 minutes walking. Only thing I could say that needs improving is the bathrooms. Not a very sociable hostel as compared to others but that is expected when choosing a lower priced hostel. There is a great noodle shop right next to it as well (to the left when standing in front of hostel).

Super chill hostel. Beds were a little hard, but come on, it's a hostel! You can't expect the Hilton. Nice quiet place if you need to get work done. Bathrooms were decent, and the beds had curtains for added privacy which is crucial! The price is amazing for such a good location. On Saturday, it's right in the middle of a huge night market.

Had a great stay here! Not a very social hostel so probably not best for those travelling solo looking to make friends. However it was extremely clean and quiet and the bed set up allows for quite a bit of privacy.
