Beer Lab has a huge selection of beers, and it will appeal to the beer aficionado looking for something a bit different from the usual 'big three' lagers in Thailand. I was a little disappointed that they did not have an IPA on tap, but there was enough selection to keep me happy. They also have a decent cider selection. We ordered a few bar snacks, and they were tasty if a little bit pretentious... (nachos don't have to be fancy to taste good). The decor is 'early brewpub' and completely in keeping with the overall concept. Portions are on the small side and prices are on the high side, so why did I give them 5 stars? Mainly it is because they are trying to develop a beer culture in Chiang Mai that has been a long time coming.

Came here looking for a Japanese bar which previously occupied this site however in hingsight this was worthy of a look and escape from an evening storm. Was a happening scene with local thai and some tourist type (including me). Pulled up a bench just as the heavens opened so retreated a bit further in. Ordered a light meal and perused the menu of all things beer - what a list. Some may say the prices were high but in actual fact quite reasonable for tap beer, of course you need to buy pints. Good atmos and service, great craft beer and usual mainstream offerings; if that's your thing. Close by Nimman One, just a short ride away or a pleasant walk.

A great selection of beers. Plenty of interesting signature cocktails. Open till Midnight after May 1 (2022). Plan to come back.

Looking nice from the outside. They serve good variety of beer (both taps and bottled) and interesting cocktail choices. Price is slightly pricey, almost same with Bangkok. Music vibe is pretty lively, can stand up and dance if u want. Seatings are not so comfortable unfortunately. Food seems okay, bar price.

Shocking attitude.

You know how it goes - busy, high energy, popular, great location, a place where everyone wants to be seen. If you can get in that is. This is a place which clearly favours personal ‘friends’ of the staff. We were refused entry despite more than enough free table space at the back. And despite the fact that some preferred guests were allowed to bypass the ‘minders’ at the entrance. Great job guys - you really are doing your bit to rebuild the tourist economy. Needless to say Beer Lab Chiang Mai is well and truly off our list. Went only once before last nights failed attempt and found the food to be pretty shocking too!

More than 10 kinds of imported draft beer. Without Thai music. Good service. Food 3 out of 5 but for a beer pub the quality is good.

Too expensive, when the food and cocktails are good then it's no problem. Almost no alcohol in it. Next to that food was bad. Service also bad. Music you can't hear and smoking is not allowed!
