Don’t go if you’re traveling solo. Very disappointing. The place was totally dead for the three nights I spent there, even the staff were aloof, when present at all. It was mostly clean, so better than one star, but absent of everything else you want in a hostel. The bathroom smelled absolutely foul. The private room felt like a jail cell- small, austere white walls, and no windows. At one point they were doing some work on the ceiling in front of my room so access to my room was blocked by a ladder and a bunch of drywall debris everywhere. Altogether a sort of surreal experience. Wish I stayed elsewhere.

4.5 STARS It was great except I wish I ran into more people. Booked a dorm bed and had the entire dorm to myself for 2 nights. Only met a couple of staff members briefly. Good location near nimman with lots of food, drink and shopping nearby.

Room is fine and basic but the staff/customer service needs help. At most of the other hostels, the staff usually are so friendly, outgoing and willing to chat a bit. Here not so much.
The cafe below not associated with the hostel won't let you bring your own food/drink in.
Price and location is fine though.

I highly recommend this Hostel, I stayed here for three nights, everything is very good, the bed is totally comfortable, the space is big, the key is clean and tidy, free drinking water, the service staff are very polite. In addition to two points to improve, one is to the staff for cleaning every day, please whisper, because there are people sleeping in the room, and second, the toilet space is too small, it is recommended to expand the door as far as possible, although I still highly recommend this hostel, if I didn't book other hotels in advance, I will continue to choose to live here. In the area of u200bu200bNingman Road, walking to any attraction and restaurant is very convenient.

I stayed one night at Alexa Hostel and I can only say good things about this place:
- Very very new and modern.
- Beds are really comfortable.
- Rooms and common areas spotless clean.
- Air conditioner is very good.
_ They have an awesome coffee shop with delicious food.
But the best part is the staff! Fast check in, all of them are very friendly, helpful and speak very good! A big thank you to David and his Team! I will be back for sure!

Really nice staff, very helpful. Its a rather relaxed ambiance so if you wanna meet people and party, this is not really the place. But faire prices, close to everything and super clean are definitely the highlights of this place. They even have a restaurant within the hostel which is actually very good. Came here with my partner, we enjoyed our stay

Great hospitality, clean and great location! The dorms were lovely as they had full curtains to give you privacy. The staff at Nimman Social were so genuine and friendly. I really enjoyed my stay here!
I think it should be bumped up to at least a 3 star as I have stayed in 3 star hotels/hostels and Alexa was by far better
